The speech was very well crafted to align with American strategic plans. I mean to say Ukraine is fighting for the American led global order and that Ukraine doesn’t need American soldiers, they just need American weapons. That is powerful and resonates with many US policymakers

What help? Getting Ukrainians slaughtered by using them in a proxy war they created to try and prolong US hegemony by weakening Russia? Some help that is and it's not even working, it's just destroying everyone else's economies with badly thought out sanctions that are backfiring on everybody else but Russia lol. None our Western chuckleheads thought to see if we could function properly without Russian exports before they went of a banning spree, it would be absolutely hilarious if it wasn't so tragic.

Question: we have sent 68 billion before the 45 agreed upon this evening. This will total well over half of their gdp as of 2020. Of the 68 billion sent before 20 billion is completely unaccounted for. How can we send more money to them without even an acceptable level of accounting? I realize they are in unprecedented times and suffering, but does it make sense to give another 45 billion of taxpayer money as “aid” when we don’t have an accurate way of tracking where it is going?

Here's a historical hint for you that don't know about Ukraine IN A NUTSHELL : Ukraine National Republic was first recognized in 1917 made up of Russian, Jewish, Polish & German Immigrants. Russia then took it back 4 years later in approx. 1921 and then it was given independence as Ukraine again in 1991. Russia then making the Minsk Accord with Ukraine, which basically states that Ukraine may be independent only if they follow the Minsk Accord and, under NO CIRCUMSTANCE will Ukraine be allowed to join NATO or acquire Nuclear weapons, they agreed until NATO & Obama performed a COUP replacing Ukraine's Govt. with there chosen people ,then pushing them to break the Minsk Accord in 2014. Since then Ukraine's Military have Murdered over 14'000+ Civilian separatist's who live in Eastern Ukraine but are also tied to Russia. Then add in the televised Biden money laundering, Extreme Corruption, Bio-Labs and, Ukraine making dirty bombs from nuclear waste ,which was the final straw. Russia has every right to take back East & South Eastern Ukraine if that's what they choose. ANYONE supporting Ukraine also Supports, Biden / Soros & , puppet Zalensky ,Leftism, Corruption, Human Trafficking ,Globalism ,Dangerous Bio-Labs & Murder.

For us Latvians and other countries that have suffered from the Russian terror for literal centuries it is very easy to understand the suffering and the frustration of the Ukrainian people, that’s why we are among the very top supporters of Ukraine by value donated as a percentage of GDP. However, it is much harder for Americans in a very distant land to understand what Russia means and does here “on the ground”. Yet the support, empathy and contribution from the Americans is outstanding. Thank you very much for counteracting the Russians with your support.

This Guy is some Great soldier. Do you not admire the fact that he insisted on carrying the box despite Madam Nancy's request to have someone carry it for him. He said no, I can carry, he carries it, and some people offer to collect it from him but he rejects their offer and carries the box himself- that's simply amazing.. he's taking no chance

And yet there were Republicans that didn't even stand or applaud. It is an American pastime to support those vying for their independence or sovereignty as a nascent republic. Be it the French, Italian, or Greek revolutions and those of the 1840s, the security of Latin American independence under the Monroe Doctrine, the various states after the collapse of the Soviet Union and German reunification. We've named cities for their leaders such as Ypsilanti, Michigan as well as Lafayette and Pulaski, Tennessee. We've welcomed those who failed in their bids for sovereignty and emigrated to the US (Tadeusz Kościuszko)...we even held parades as was the case for Hungarian revolutionary Lajos Kossuth. We also inquired if they would aid us in our most desperate hours as had been the case with Giuseppe Garibaldi and the Forty-Eighters during the American Civil War. There is nothing more American than supporting the cause of Western Liberalism abroad if not to safeguard that of our experiment here at home. Meanwhile, this modern day iteration of Republicans, who are as unrecognizable to us as they would be otherworldly for Lincoln or Teddy Roosevelt, have the audacity to support the most obvious charlatan and alleged criminal in American political discourse, vilify their fellow countrymen as enemies of the state, and threaten civil war despite espousing the heritage of another which took the lives of 2% of Americans at the time...the lesson of which they failed to learn was "never again"...Sam Watkins and others stir in the grave inasmuch as Lincoln would in seeing Confederate battle flags in the temple of Western Liberalism. This Tennessean calls them out for their support of ideologues, demagogues, and tartuffes...they are no more Republican than they are republican. To challenge the veracity of our national electoral system for political power for power's sake is Un-American. The party should go the way of the Whigs or face decades-long consequences of "waving the bloody shirt"...as the Democratic Party did after the Civil War or the GOP itself after the New Deal. Its leaders and enablers must be hounded out of public life lest the institutional guard rails give way to another more capable and following the precedent of a vicious idiot and his asinine, troglodytic, Know-Nothing acolytes masquerading as patriots.

We were a white, isolationist, Christian, and racist nation whose entire economy was pretty much based around agriculture until the early 1900s. Don’t try pushing this oh it’s so American to be loving and supportive. That’s bs. America didn’t start sticking its nose in everything until the early 1900s and back then and even today a lot of people don’t like it.

If it’s an American past time to support independence movements then why did they fight the confederacy? And I can tell you pal it was about power not slavery.

The determination and strength this man shows to use our money to fight for Democracy is unmatched. I feel good knowing that my kids' future is being used for weapons for people to die. I really hope the people of Ukrainian can survive as long as they can. He has shown me that he can go as long as he needs to keep the war alive and well. Shame on the politicians who didn't stand and cheer for him. They will always be remembered as the ones who wouldn't read the 4,000 page bill. They had a whole day to do it and failed. 1.7 trillion is cheap when it comes to Democracy. Before it's all said and done, I really hope that Zelinski gets another vacation home like his one in Florida. He really needs a place to stay safe and ready for new challenges of getting taxpayer funds.
