Zelenskyy is probably one of the only world leaders willing to go out of his way to help his country. He is probably one of the bravest leaders especially for only being 45. He could’ve made peace with Russia, but chose to stand and fight for his country’s freedom. Also he learned English so it shows he went out of his way to ask for help. We must help Ukraine!!

He wanted to make peace when he was elected in 2019, but the far right pressured him out of it. Soon after Russia invaded, he and Putin were negotiating peace. Boris Johnson flew into Kiev and told him not negotiate an end to the war, but to keep fighting. I think he means well, but he has been controlled by outside interests ever since he was elected.

I'm not sure that he could have had peace under any circumstance, because Putin was determined to have his war. Russian war aims at the outset included regime change, possibly the execution of Ukrainian leaders including Mr. Z. Putin did not regard the Ukrainian State as legitimate, which is quite an extraordinary stance. Officially the Russians have not changed their tune to this day, although in secret they may have gained a little respect for their enemy. He did remain resolutely in place, so we shall never know what might have happened had he accepted that 'ride'. It's not unthinkable that resistance could have been organized without him, but I have little doubt that his personal presence stiffened morale at a critical juncture. Whatever the outcome of this war, I think he will be remembered for what he did during its opening phase. In 1914, Austria-Hungary attacked a far weaker Serbia but was repulsed. The next year Bulgaria joined the Central Powers and delivered a stab to Serbia's back as the Austro-Hungarian offensive was renewed. So in 1915 Serbia was overrun by enemy forces, but that did not mean its extinction, for Allied victory in 1918 led to its restoration. Russia is trying to get Belarus involved in a renewed northern offensive, or so it seems. As senior partner in an alliance with Russia, China has skin in this game too. Iran is already significantly involved through its drone programme. Presently only Sovereign GOD knows the short- and long-term outcomes. These will not be accidental. There is an Old Testament Scripture which speaks of Him as 'guiding the nations on the earth'. This guidance does not depend upon their awareness of Him. The leaders of both Russia and Ukraine seem to have some awareness of Him, how much it is hard to say, but their interpretations of His will differ greatly.
