Russia has a long history of this behavior. They blinded French POW's with knives then set them free. It's why the Germans sought out Americans to surrender to in WW2. Just look at the war crimes the Russians committed against the Poles. The hatred still remains to this day. The Japanese of WW2 were some of the most cruel people to ever exist but the Japanese people of today are the exact opposite of the WW2 Japanese. They are kind and with honor. The same with the Germans. But the Russians have not changed at all. Look no further than Ukraine to see it. I would like to meet this lady at a long distance rifle range some day. So bring your scoped rifle and your skills. Would like to show you the US National Rifle Association long distance range in Raton, New Mexico. Distances up to one mile, (1600 meters). Possibly up to 8 different wind direction changes for each shot. Possibly go to Todd Hodnet's training range in Canadian, Texas. The Accuracy First Company is there. Miss Charcoal can get one of Accuracy First's dry ball anti cant indicator. Most anti cant indicators are liquid filled. Miss Charcoal can learn about the best scope retical ever made. The Horus Vision's, TreMor-3 reticle. It's easier than you think. Once you learn how to work that reticle you become triple fast at engaging targets.

I couldn´t care less about individual soldiers. War is a numbers game and it is the combined effort of many and not the individual story that makes a difference (except maybe for generals). The fighter pilot aces of past world wars didn´t change the outcome of grand scale operations, and neither did individual ship captains or their crew. Elevating individual service people to prominence is just a cheap media game to increase morale.
