The difference I see with Ukrainian women is that they want (correct me if I'm wrong): Someone reliable. Someone confident. Someone who is stable and preferably has his own place. (This does not mean you have to make 6 figures.) Someone taller than her. (Of course, you need to have similar life goals and have matching personalities.) I feel this is more possible than the unrealistic requirements from a Western woman. Thoughts?

Your "clients" are a specific and narrow sliver of western men. Most western men don't talk about salaries or sex. Players do this. If you are encountering this, the western men you are meeting are players, the ones that are not interested in real long-term relationships. Number 1 is actually totally understandable. I don't talk about money up front even though I am a financial professional. I typically talk about money for a living so I wouldn't want to talk about it in normal conversation or when dating. Totally understand this. Number 2, I completely agree with this one. Talking about intimacy is not something I would do early on in the relationship. Makes total sense. Number 3 I am a stoic myself. Stoicism is actually a key thing about me. Totally understand this. I don't think I would ever want to meet with a matchmaker to meet Ukrainian women because that seems almost predatory or something. It seems like you're taking advantage or something. But I find these things about women there totally understandable and reasonable. Honestly if it didn't seem kinda like taking advantage of tragedy or something I would be open to meeting a Ukrainian woman but I don't think I would go through a matchmaker I would probably just travel and hope to meet someone nice organically.

Hmmmm. I never did this or heard of it when I was dating my now wife back in 2014. She never asked and I never gave that info on salary. I don't even give my own kids that info. We never talked about sex either....I think you guys need to vet your clients better if that is happening. I did not go for sex vacation, I went to find a real woman, a good traditional woman who I could marry. I never was into sex tourism. That always seemed like a very dangerous thing to do. Rip offs and disease is all that will bring.

This summer I spent two months in Ukraine. For six weeks I studied Ukrainian at the Ukrainian Catholic University. It was a great experience, but I also had a complaint about me being too positive, too many compliments from my second tutor. I changed tutors and a man was my second tutor. The last night in Ukraine, we as group went out, and the tutor who complained about me was there in our small group of six people. She have me a wonderful hug as we parted. I agree with you, that too many compliments can scare the ladies. So after this episode, when I met ladies, I just told them at the beginning of our conversation that I have a problem with giving to many compliments. It worked well and none of the ladies I talked with complained to me. But some of them agreed with what I said. I loved my trip there and will return next May or June for summer school again. I am 68 years old married to a Russian and we have a Ukrainian refugee living with us. Life can be complicated.

Americans know that this is the number one thing that is important to woman in the USA. Ladies in the USA are conditioned and taught that men's value is what they can get from them. Most woman in the USA can financially take care of themselves and often do not think a man brings much value to them. This makes men understand that if they are not bringing economic advantage to the woman. They are not valued or respected. Younger men have the most difficult time with this. Because many of them are brought up in a single-family home without fathers. So, they do not understand their roles in a relationship. The main reason they want to seek out Ukrainian ladies or woman outside of the USA is the lack of respect most women in the United States give to men without large incomes. You will find that most younger men are looking for femininity and respect from ladies. Not masculine feminist attitudes and ideology. I was lucky and found my wife in Ukraine and she is not only feminine, brilliant and beautiful. But she respects me and other in her life primarily because of her upbringing and appreciation for what we offer one another. No matter what age you are. This is the fundamental qualities everyone is looking for. One of the main problems in the United States is we are not bringing up our children and our families with respect and dignity. Men in the United States who decide to look for a lady in Ukraine need to learn and understand the culture and upbringing. It is not perfect. But it is better than the USA.

In the west not being open with your partner about finances is seen as shady. It's something men do who like to maintain side pieces. In the west not discussing sex until you start having sex is how you get mismatched sexual partners. There is a difference between sex chat and discussing sexual expectations, so everyone is aware what each other wants. Sexual disfunction is a huge cause of divorce in the west. In the west men being unwilling or unable to express their feelings is a huge driver of toxic masculinity and domestic abuse. All those feelings will come out some way or another. Is it going to be during a healthy talk or as the back side of a hand is really the question. This is backed up by domestic abuse numbers where Ukraine is about 20% higher than the US and Western Europe.

Not discussing sex is true in countries of the former Soviet Union. The truth is that many of these women have been taught that sex is dirty; that's why you don't talk about it. An American man may assume that oral sex is a part of a gratifying sexual relationship, eventually, she'll balk. I speak from decades of experience. If you don't make your expectations known up front and make it known they are non-negotiables, you're likely to be disappointed. Of course, you'll eliminate the honest ones immediately. The dishonest women will go along for a while.

What country are you talking about? China? I assume since you're talking in OUR language on OUR American website you are talking about OUR country - America. But the fact is that talking about salary is SO TABOO it is rarely spoken about even between close friends. I had a very good friend of 5 years, finally he really really wanted to know each others salaries and gave a bit of prefix speech before doing it. That's how taboo it is. It is the opposite in China. You get in a taxi and the taxi driver asks your salary, many American have huge culture shock going there. *THAT SAID* these Ukrainian women might be meeting weird American men, because I had a friend of a friend visit in Ukraine when I was there.. In the nightclub, he was 'accidentally' showing girls his cell phone which had his bank account balance on the screen. My other friend and I were talking about how he is looking to get kidnapped in some poor country eventually if he keep doing that (especially like Latin America, etc.). So he *did do this* but it is very abnormal for our culture. I hope you understand. For family? Also somewhat taboo. I have worked the same job now for 12 years. My parents have a rough idea that I'm paid very well, but ultimately they don't know and won't ask. They would be embarrassed to ask. But they could google it on glass door and have a good idea of the range.

One point to make. It depends on the situation. Here in the US; if you work for the Federal Government, State Government, Local Government Your salary/income is posted on-line for everyone to see! By law. It’s tax payers money, all you need is their first or last name. I work for the government. And, that’s the way it should be; full transparency. Another reason for this, is because if someone else is being discriminated against in the workplace (being way under paid) it’s normally women who are being victimized, and underpaid etc. So, the only way to know is to have open salaries. In some cases privately employees who work where there are Unions, find out by word of mouth And fight for equal pay in the workplace. However; it is interesting to note that some men, will not help other men, in the workplace with information that could help let them know they are being “underpaid”, yet they will brag to women about how much they make when it’s inappropriate. Some men are just jerks to everyone.
