Logically, Double tops and bottoms make more sense to me and have seen them initiate several huge reversals but definitely on key levels and not just any level.

I hate that ppl expect the 2nd bottom to be exactly ar the same lwvel as the first. It normally clears out all stops. You nailed it!

Love double bottoms. For the lower lows I like Bollinger Bands to make a relative higher low. Entry will be either a bullish engulfing or a candle close above the neckline. I much prefer to have these happen at a predefined support level. A spike in bearish volume is always a good sign as well.

This works even on tick chart on ES. I think this the strongest patern ever.

After a double top forms I like to wait for a Bearish Engulfing Candle to enter my short. The opposite for Double Bottoms. Thank you

Double bottoms happen all over the place. You can even be in an uptrend and it pulls back a bit dropping into a DB pattern. Study the pattern guys! Not only use neckline use trendlines. If you wait for price to break the neckline you have a 97% success rate for DB. Hunt the patterns. You have a 1-2 green candle scalp to the trendline even if it fails depending on how deep it is. This pattern is money. If its successful, trade heavy after break of neckline until first order block take profits then reduce your trade size and let it run. I do this all the time. If the pattern fails to breakout then ill short the bitch 😀

Hi Mark, i have a question for you. You said that for every seller there is a buyer and viceversa, then the price should remain always the same right? I mean, if 1000 share are sold by someone there must be someone else who bought these 1000 shares, if this is right no matter how many sellers are out there, they are always the same number as the buyers, so how the price moves then? How can there be a buyers/sellers unbalance, how can you say that (for example) in a bearish market there are more sellers than buyers, who buys the shares of these sellers? Pls make a video clarifying this

Double bottom/top alone does not provide strong enough evidence for me to put a trade. I like to combine it with other indicators and factors in order to make my trade more secure.

can you do a video about stock warrants and how they impact price action !!!!
@ukspreadbetting6 жыл бұрын
I think that would be an interesting one. I'm sending it to Mark to consider covering this topic in a future video.
@Hey_Mack_jay6 жыл бұрын
UKspreadbetting please thank you . Warrants and their true impacts on a stock are something that 99% of traders are ignorant to. This video would instantly become a classic as no one on KZbin really takes about them in detail .

If the 2nd low makes a lower low, lower close than the first low then for me it no longer qualifies as a double bottom

am i the only one thar does not like this mark explaination in every pattern? he sees a swing pivot turning to the downside and he says "buyers dont find that level as value or selles do find that level as value". In every pattern, in every swing, regardless context regardless everything, thats an explanation that doesnt provide anything usefull. Some sellers finding value at one particular point at the time does not mean sellers would see value ogain when we reach the pivot ogain. So i dont get it, what is the utility of saying "oh yeah sellers did find value here (some random pivot point), oh, now buyers find value here (some other random pivot point), oh, now selers find value here (you get the idea)" You can say that about every single pivot point in every single market. Whats the point his trying to make? where is the utility on this discourse?
