If possible apply for your partner's visa even if he is not coming but if that's not an option go to court or get a legal document to show that you are the sole guidiain of your child,if you don't fix the cause of the first refusal you might experience it again. Good luck

The money should be in your account for at least 90 days,you can add and remove but not less than the amount needed and it should not be a sudden one time deposit,pay it in gradually if your employer is not going to provide maintenance letter for you.

We intend applying from Nigeria thats why she’s going next month to get her Naija wife residence permit so she could do the biometric and visa application from nigeria.... my question is please when do we get notified to do biometrics after we have applied for the visa? Or is the biometric done as soon as we apply for the visa? I am asking because due to dubai situation we both cant be leaving work and traveling back to Naija 2times in a month when its not our vacation period. We hope to do the residence permit, apply for the uk visa and also do biometrics at the same period we’re in Nigeria but i dont know how long it will take for us to be notified for biometrics and passport submission Sorry its a long epistle lol i just had alot to say. Once you apply for your Visa there is a place for you to book your biometric appointment,you choose the date you want and if possible upload all your documents in the provided spaces for faster processing, so it is you who will decide when you want to do it and you will be told if there is availability or not. So as soon as you want or as soon as there is available slot.

If you are studying you should be able to apply, I am sure of the UK, you should not be on a visitor visa in another country and still apply for a visitor visa to another country. But you are not on a visitor Visa so I think yaou will be fine.

If it expires you can ask your employer to give you another maintenance letter, dependant requirements, passport, Tb test (18 year) above,prove of adress and landlord approval for your family to stay in their building, maintenance letter or bank statement, police clearance for 18 and above. Etc
