Wow, you had a day choc full of excitement and variety The Eagle footage was amazing, with perfect tracking of them through the air. The Goldcrest footage again was amazing, I know from experience how hard they are to film, so you did well there. With so much to see in the video it is hard to pick out the highlights, a truly fantastic video.

Today thanks to a kind couples knowledge and binoculars I saw a Sea Eagle for the first time. Albeit at a distance and only for a moment but what a thrill 😊 Especially after seeing a pair of Red Kites for the first time also. Never seen two together before. This was all at the edge of the South Downs back of Brighton. Feel very privileged and surprised. Must get some new binoculars for myself. I missed watching the eagle for longer without my own pair. But still wonderful. ❤

This was my 1st time seeing them, despite having spent a week in prime habitat in Scotland last year, its a special bird to see, especially for the 1st time. And red kites too sounds like a great day :)

I had a sea eagle in my garden yesterday sitting on top of my tree, i was shocked to see it because it was huge & only 20foot away from me & concerned for my tiny dogs. I never knew until later having a google search to identify it. It stayed in my tree for a good ten minutes weighing up what to have for dinner. I am told i am fortunate to see it so close yet i am a bird feeder & have many like above in your video visiting my garden yet this was a sure shock. Lovely video too.

I went to Amberley wild brooks today. I also saw the white tailed sea eagle there. I saw it hunting a heron then it gave up. Sk it took a duck instead. Wgat a sight it was. Very breath taking moment. I live about 45mins away from there. If h live close go and see them. They are huge

Just great. Is t it amazing that we have Eagles in England now. Just so brilliant. My cousins lives near Steyning and he’s seen and photographed the Eagle pair around there too. Must get down to Pulborough Brooks soon!!

is there any news on the investigation about the Sea eagle that was found poisoned near there a couple of years ago?
@ukwildlife Жыл бұрын
Not that I'm aware. With the Dorset bird, the local MP (who is against their reintroduction) and police commissioner seemed to make sure nothing happened (they denied it though email between them suggest otherwise), and the wildlife crime officer investigating had to leave her job. Then, a few months later, the gamekeeper at the estate in the area the Eagle was found was found guilty of poisoning BOP in a separate incident. Despite the fact this was known, the police declined to raid the state the Eagle was found.... Very little info was released on the 2nd poisoned Eagle that I saw
