When testing do you have the air vent open or closed? I am just trying to confirm if you are using the "Heating Flame" or "Safety Flame" (lots of air or no air) for testing purposes. In the video it looks like you are just reducing gas flow in order to achieve the correct flame height, so I am assuming you are not using the torch (Heating Flame) setting. I am only asking because it makes a pretty significant difference in flame temperature.
