got myself the RGB version and for anybody buying it...first the light if you attach a reflector has a dark spot in the middle cause of the arrangement of the led diodes, so if you use this light you need to use it with a soft box and even then you will probably have a darker center depending on the soft box and its layers. The second problem the led diodes are not protected so you have to be really careful when using the light there is a higher chance to get burned or to damage the light diodes. but for the money it is still usable and it is weird that the battery attached is more expensive than the light. It would be nice if ulanzi updated this design with at least the glass protective cover for the led diodes like other similar products have. The build is really great for the price, would love to see magenta and green correction in the bicolour mode.

The grid does not add to the diffusion. It just focuses the light

I just got their little tube light for the color, its magnetic and rgb and stackable!!! Its so good im getting 4 more and 2 of these lights right now.

With the color match function, i assume that you can use a grey card to color match the color of existing lights on location. Like the often greenish shop lighting.

Thanks for that video. Its very helpful. I made a lot research and in the end I had this Ulanzi lamp on my final list and Yongnuo YNRay100. At first I thought Ulanzi is very cheap so maybe is no good, on the other hand what I red about yongnuo - it is quite loud. Thanks to this video I made up my mind :)

@ Once you have v-mount batteries to power them, they are incredibly compact compared to the 300c. Additionally, I can place them anywhere and install the Aputure Spotlight SE if required.

This is incredible. How is the fan noise compared to something like the Zhiyun and does it come in a case?

there was no case for this one. but the fan noise was super quiet, i had it next to me and i had to put my ear up to it to hear that it was even on! (thanks for the questions)

So what is the fall away rating on these? Because how far it throws light is an important measure of whether a light is good or not.
