Don’t know why I think Vinny is the best. Something about his expression when Jerm is doing the intro- freaking makes me laugh immediately. OK, here’s how it went down. Camera guy in the blue shirt, “whazzat“? pointing at the soon to be famous “jiggabidgical” goo. Professor Paul, PhD hort science, “I think it’s just like gooey stuff”. Cal, “touch it”. Jerm, “what is it?” Cal, “touch it” Jerm, “No, no, no, I can see how that feels”. Cal, “touch it”. Jerm, “right before you tee off, you’re going to step in that? Cal “Hahaha, what are you doing.” Jerm, “Can we get a zoom on this?” Cal, “haha, giggles”. Prof Paul, “Here, I’ll do”…. Jerm “How does a rock handle it”? Prof Paul, “I know exactly what this is…” Jerm “haha, what is it”? Queue “Ulibarris Safari” with no less than 2 flying gazelles (we caught and appreciated that Jomez). Prof Paul on his soap box, “So normally, you’d come up to something like this and nobody would know what it is….but, I actually know what it is”. Cal, “jello”. The Illustrious Prof continues, “So what happens is, condensation from (points upward) the trees falls down on to da”… Jerm giggles… Paul looks at Jerm annoyed, “on to the ground and when they mix up with a bunch of snails…. Jerm helpfully, “Yes, sedimentary snails”. Prof continues, “yes sedimentary snails, thanks for the word, Jerm, giggles. “then it becomes like uh, kind of uh, jelloy home for the snails, if you were to dig under here, (pokes his shoe in the goo), you would find that, that is actually”… Jerm seriously “thousands of varieties of snails running”… Prof Paul agrees, but corrects, “so many snail varieties, and as they move you can see they kind of migrate towards the mud and the water”. Jerm “right”, Cal “mmm huh”, Prof Paul, now in full snail mode, “but they come up here, so when the water comes up that, they actually”…. Jerm, “Get a scoop of it, show the people at home what it”. Paul grabs a Destroyer -full of goo, camera close up…. “So that’s kind of a jiggly guy”. Jerm, “I’ve never seen anything like this before”. Cal, “so we all have to throw with that on our disc”? Paul’s caddy, “what planet are we on”? Cal, “so what’s it called”? Paul, “huh”? Paul’s caddy, “what planet is it”? Cal, “what’s it called? Prof Paul thoughtfully, “that is what we call”… thinking, thinking,,,, “kinda like a …g….” Paul’s caddy, “snail sauna”. Prof Paul in full launch mode, “well, what we call it, see is a jigga…they call it… THE Jiggabidgical”! Hilarity Ensues.
