Let’s not forget that this guy was sweeping minor and diminished arpeggios in the 70’s, he was light years ahead of his time. A truly original musician in a world of clones. Don’t get that many of them come around in one lifetime. One of the all time greats. Live long and prosper Uli 🖖🏼

Now, you can truly appreciate his genius, and how he shaped the playing capabilities and skill set of his young mentor Michael Schenker, Real Scorpions for me are the Uli years, Sure the Scorpions went on to bigger and better things, in the commercial rock arena, But they left the true master behind, and his genius an un-forgivaable doing in my book.I play a little and I remember being blown away learning Sails of Charon in the late seventies, and have been one of this legends staunchest supporters ever since., Thank you Uli-Jon, you've made all our lives brighter.

Uli is THE most relaxed, bad ass dude, ever to pick up a guitar. His style is so fluid, and rhythmic. No wasted motion. Just no one like him. I think we really need him put on a level of some of the greats. We speak of Page, Clapton, Beck, Hendrix, as the Gods of Guitar. I know there are more, just to name a few. But, my point is, I would rather pay $200 to see Uli, than Clapton. Unfortunately, Uli just never got the recognition he deserves. I know there are many folks like me who believe Uli deserves the recognition the aforementioned axe men have received. And, I bet he doesn't really give a shit. Guess I'm just ramblin' on (pun intended) here.

Your absolutely right.I found out about Uli about 5 years ago.I was checking out a UFO video with Michael Shenker called Rock Bottom.Uli did a duet with Michael and I thought Uli was awesome.He is underated.So is Joe Satriani.But Uli is not boring to see like Satriani.Uli is the most interesting and fascinating guitarist I have ever seen.

+gtrfrkkkkk Yes, good point on interesting. When you see him in concert, he is in touch with the audience. I hate to blabber on some more. But, I saw him in Dallas back in February of this year. When he feels the crowd into him he will interact with a story, or just an Uli smile. Anyway, he was starting Sails of Charon, and I yelled out a "Hell ya," or some other concert jargon. He turned a bit and looked me right in the the eyes, and gave me an Uli smile. It was pretty damn cool. You won't see him stomp around, or throw his head back and forth. But, when he closes his eyes, he unleashes the beast. Just magic.

+PGeorge61 Yep.He has a beautiful electric guitar with a gem like the one on his wrist.And it has about 33 frets!All heads must bow,all lips must speak.This guy is a brilliant guitarist.He played with the Scorpions while Michael Shenker played with UFO.Both bad ass bands.Can you believe the Scorpions retired?How can they just call it quits?Amazing band the Scorpions.Thats what gets my heart pumping.

Ich (Baujahr 1980) sah ihn mit meinem Vater (Baujahr 1949) 2014 solo in Isernhagen in der Blues Garage, es war fantastisch. Nach dem Konzert stand Uli im Publikum und unterhielt sich mit Leuten / Freunden / Fans. Ich fragte ihn nach einem Autogramm, Uli meinte ganz ruhig "Ich bin gleich bei dir", und er hielt Wort.
