The trailer went viral after it was released The story starts when a journalist sets out to uncover the truth behind an incident, through the perspectives of different people, unraveling how they and their lives are intertwined with it.The last dance is called huli(tiger) dance which is seen in the coastal areas . The incident is about 2 childhood friends out of which one is the hero(gangsta) and the other is a smuggler. Some report that the gangsta killed him and some say that they were very good friends.So the journalist sets out to discover the truth. She writes it in a novel

if u want React properly for Kannada movies like this, first you must understand the content in that trailer,, otherwise the reaction will be like that, at least try and get subtitles, before reacting. how can u react just based on the visuals, sound effect, when the whole trailer is of content based.

brother. I am not kannada person. but By trailer, I too thought it is normal masala film and trailer doesn't make it seem so good. but when i watched this movie, I understood its greatness. I was greatly impressed that now i have become fan of rakshit shetty, n now i see kannnada film industry differently. next few films i am gonna watch is Lucia and Rangitaranga. :-)

yes you got it right. it's a tribute to all those guys and Akira Kurosawa's Rashomon. Rakshit shetty said so in an interview. Regarding the trailer, yes it's little long and movie is also very intense and a tad slow in terms of narration as they have focused a lot on details. The idea was, I believe is about narration having sub plots of a bigger plot and all of them merging into that bigger plot. This highlight of the movie.

The direction is very good and very few have tried to capture an event such as this. it's around 3 hours and there's a lot of relevant twists. Trailer might be long but the film is only abt 2 n half hours...and if u guys have still haven't seen the film, I strongly recommend it... this film is almost a tribute to the Tarantino school of film-making (Rakshit Shetty is a self-confessed fan of Tarantino)... it follows non-linear storytelling, crude humour, ,chapter-wise episodes... and a climax to bring it all together... Tarantino would have been proud of this film... P.S: the 'thing' mentioned in the trailer was from Pulp Fiction.... and the film is 8.7 on imdb...

@Ravi , The reason why the trailer is as long as it is because, the film is about perspectives and the film has too many characters and each character gives a different perspective to the story and the makers couldn't have possibly got all the characters into the trailer.The movies is one single story narrated as seen by many others. Subtitles could have been added. I have watched the movie, its super good when it comes to Indian standards.
