Omg you guys!! This was insane 🤮 in the end I’m glad they didn’t have the lights at the front on as I would’ve been on the first life boat out of there 😬
Scary but thrilling experience! And as always the Calmac crew/team are so accommodating and amazing! Thoroughly recommend using their services!
I mostly kept the original audio throughout so you can hear the scary noises! Wonder what was going on whilst I slept🥶😴
Note this was a trip to see my family on the island and I only had small amount of time off work so I was keen to get across sooner rather than later ♥️

That was the MV Loch Seaforth that you were on. My favourite ferry is the MV Finlaggan. I was thinking about the same thing too. How does the captain know where he is going, because although they have nautical maps and navigation charts they should still use bright lights to see any other vessels or obstacles.

@@beautyyyontheinside I’m obsessed with ferries and ships, These are links to the MV Finlaggan that connects the island of Islay to the mainland. MV Finlaggan was ordered by the CMAL (Caledonian Maritime Assets Limited) in 2007. Work began in 2010 at the Remontowa Shipyard in Gdansk, Poland. The type of vessel is a modern Ro-Ro Euroclass B passenger ferry, (registered with the IMO) In 2011 the Finlaggan was launched with the Gdansk pipe band and a special Finlaggan whiskey, Islay pipe band were also present at the time. Rather you than me! I got caught in Storm Arwen on Blackpool promenade and the wind was so fierce, the worst I'd been in before. I'd have hated every second of that ferry crossing 😂

I wonder if Sturgeon will be present when Fergusons finally launch Hull 802 in May 2028, just before announcing a series of papers outlining the reasons why the Glen Sannox sank on its sea trials. It would be a nice gesture if Nikla invited Derek McKay down to take part in the ceremony, showing“ lessons had been learned “ and " challenges" met. What a boost this would be to Nationalists, in the run up to Indyref3 ✌️.......😭😭😭.....😜

Aye, the Scottish Government are putting all Calmac business totally out to tender, to the very people complaining, as they decided that they'd know more about designing, building, timetables, the running and crewing them, than anyone else, as they continually rant on about all the aspects openly on the media! I wish them well on their new business skill, and realise that they'll be delighted to just "go for it"

Severe Gale vs storm 10? Yep force 9 would be nothing. Ferry MV Seaforth is very powerful and built for it. but for the young lady this is a big deal.

its a law for nighttime sailing to have no lights at front of ship they have night vision lighting on the bridge and radar and lookouts
