I worked in Ullapool in Summer 1976 between University years. At the Frigate restaurant and on the land owned by the MacKay Scobies. It was a lovely village then, and doesn't look like it's changed too much since. Thanks for the lovely video!

Great wee video. My sister and i were there in April on our way up to Durness from Glasgow. We had fish and chips in the chippy in the video, jeez! the best we've ever had, it was that good that we made a point of stopping off for more on our way back home lol The scenery from Loch Ness to Ullapool and up to Durness ( for anyone visiting for the first time) is absolutely stunning, and as Ive told my family and friends, stunning doesn't even touch the sides.

We spent 7 months up there last year and loved every min of it, we use drive 10 mile up to knock an cragg to park up for the night with the stag's, can't wait to get back...thanks for the vid
