So many young people coming up as great pipers these days! Fantastic work! And for those who didn't hear drones ....... Yeah, he was playing them. Looked like a very easy set of pipes. Just the way they should be. Looked very comfortable playing his tunes, and great finger work!

What kind of chanter are you using...looking for a good chanter with small holes like the one your using?

I don't know what chanter he is using, but if you're looking for one with small holes and closer spacing both the ColinKyo and Kron medalist are good.

He can indeed - I guess the microphone was only picking up the chanter, you can just about hear a tiny bit of drone coming through. Anyway, his solo on the most recent FFMPB album shows off how nice his instrument actually is.

Piper Matthew if you can't hear the drones you may need your ears checked they are definitely going just not super loud
