HEy nice vid, rember to "remove" (click on chest to remove it) chest after u done as it will reset spawn for the next player have a t-maps at the same spot. (i think it's so it work) 🙂

5:17 It would seem they changed this back because the two maps I just did (my first two ever, heh) both had a bag with a bunch of piles of gold in them. Kind of a shame; the check format seems much better (especially for weight). I was almost encumbered after doing just one of these maps. It was fun though! Thanks for the walkthrough! Treasure hunting might be my "end game" for awhile, given how good it is for money--at least until I can afford to buy a boat and search for underwater treasure (something else I've never tried).

I haven't done any TMaps yet I am new and not really playing yet, but you could use a bag of sending to send the gold piles. It does make more sense for there to be gold and not checks haha.

Dont know if its this way on the shard your on but it was good practice to take a axe with you to destroy thr chest oncr your done looting, if your doing a bunch of maps some may be in the same spot so it keeps you and others from waiting for it to despawn.

I forgot to show it in the video but after you’re done with your chest, you can single click it to bring up the remove chest option

I'm on my fishermage here, she has: Magery, meditation, eval int, resist spells, spellweaving, wrestling and fishing. Those fairies are from spellweaving, its an extra quest for the spell

How do you get your Map like that? Mine is just a little round thing.

It should be part of the classicUO launch assistant. Are you using Steam or just the plain classic client with no assist program?

@@ryanlux7796UOAlive uses a launcher which launches ClassicUO client. To get that map you have to go to the little menu bar at the top (little green arrow) and click World Map on it. You can make a macro for World Map too. The other tiny map is called the "Radar"

I'm sorry but I can't give a thumbs up to this. You have missed two vital clues to Treasure Hunting: 1. Buy a [sextant] with the Tinkerer. It is a tool that when used gives your Latitude & Longitude coordinates. 2.(Applicable on most servers) On the Public Library, there is a [Map Table] (David Jone's) on which you can put your map and will give its aproximate coordinates. Most of the time, when you reach the point that a Treasure map shows you, you will get the Message "there is no treasure here" due to low Cartho skill or not near enough to the chest spot. Using a [sextant] and the coordinates given by the [Map Table] you can find the spot more easily and don't get frustated while trying to dig everywhere.

It’s true you need a sextant and the map table on the main server but here the coordinates are on the map and can be input right into the UI map so there’s no reason for it, unless you want it for role-playing

Around 1:15 it’s a razor enhanced feature. I’m not sure if it can be done on the main servers. I haven’t played on live in a while.
