Can that projector be mounted upside down? Bolt it to the wall above the screen or hang it from the ceiling. Cables go down behind the screen, maybe inside the wall. Then you need no large desk and can place yourself as near or far from the wall as you like. Low lag wireless keyboards and mice may be useful, too.

that seems to be a common theme whenever people mount very large tv's, or even projector screens..... people always seem to hang them(or display them), really high on the wall.... and everyone ends up craning their head back uncomfortably. with projectors its a bit more difficult, because you want it, just low enough where its comfortable watching it at eye-level, but not so low that the image gets obstructed by people/objects.
