Check out Firefox here: mzl.la/MatandDani
This "tiny house" tipi is completely off the grid with solar power, wood heat, a very special shower for hot water, and propane for cooking.
The teepee/tent cabin was built by Stan and Kedarnathan who started an eco tourist resort in Saint Calixte, Quebec, Canada called Les Pieds sur Terre. See links below to check them out!
We've always wanted to check out a tipi; and while this one is clearly not set up as a traditional First Nations teepee (it's more of a hybrid between a tepee, a tiny house, and an rustic off grid cabin), we still enjoyed the chance to experience the space first hand.
Les Pieds sur Terre:

/ lespiedssurterresaintc...
They're located in Saint Calixte, Quebec, Canada.
Hope you enjoyed the tour! Thanks for watching!

Back in the 80s, a friend of mine lived in a tipi that was very much like this -- sleeping loft, wood stove, and all. It was deep in an overgrown xmas tree farm, where the trees were now so tall that the people who built the tipi cut tree branches to create a maze through the tightly packed trees, eventually reaching the tipi in the center. We'd make a big pot of chili, bring a bunch of tortilla chips, and have a great evening with friends. Slept there comfortably, even in the winter (we're in Connecticut). BTW, I'm a longtime fan (currently building out my high top E250 passenger van) and am impressed with the constant evolution of and improvement to your videos. Well done!

A very different take on the popular yurt design. Good to see people constantly innovating in the tiny house movement. Not to mention how awesome it is that channels like yours get to show people like me what they're up to.

3D printed fold flat aluminum eyebeams the kind used on fold flat aluminum ladders that swivel latch lock together to form the inner structure and base of the tipi. Cover base of tipi with bamboo concrete canvas cover inside of tipi with bamboo concrete run electrical conduit in tipi. Soak everything down with water and let bamboo concrete canvas cure. Use airalloy to insulate the tipi then cover outside of tipi with bamboo concrete canvas soak down with water and let it cure. Add windows to the tipi design place second floor in tipi using aluminium eyebeams and airalloy insulation and bamboo concrete canvas. A permanent tipi you can order on line and set up in two days and move in on the third day after all the bamboo concrete canvas has cured. 😊
