I believe if you have a license (since it’s bigger than 50cc) you can register the bike as long as it has working lights. It’s possible to make them street legal, just takes some extra work and money.

This place is a vintage car lover's heaven! The roads and general terrain are a lot like those found in south-western Saudi Arabia. Last year, I took a fun little road trip from Jeddah to the town of Billasmar, about 50 miles north of Abha, to check out and buy a 1991 Toyota Cressida station wagon that eventually became my second daily driver along with my _other_ daily driver, a 1982 Peugeot 504 Familiale station wagon. The roads and scenery are very similar to those in your video.

is this the start of a Mini "ADV" bike series? are you prepping for big adventures that are normally done on Yamaha Tenere and BMW GS's along with Africa twins and Norden 901's? (I hope so) just suit up properly, armoured riding jackets pants boots & gloves... you need to bounce off the rocks, roll and slide along the road at 60mph and be able to get up laugh about not having a scratch. And NOT be flown to the nearest hospital!

@Deucealive75Ай бұрын

@@Deucealive75well i started off with a 60t rear and 12t clutch and put on a tacometer and it rev limited at 6150rpm at 52mph. i put a 18t clutch and 60t rear on it and its maxs at 5500 but takes it a minute to get there with no rev limit and hit 66.7mph. now i threw on my 12t clutch with a 40t rear and hit 67 at the same rpms of 5500 without rev limiting but im wondering why before i could get to that 6150rpm where as now i cant even get close is my gearing to low or whats the deal?
@Deucealive75Ай бұрын
@@all_falco9930 The 18/60 and 12/40 are the same ratio which is 3.33:1. This is why the speed and RPM were nearly identical. The 12/60 is 5:1 ratio. Better for takeoff but you run out of RPM. So if you want to keep your 65 plus MPH without getting to the rev limiter you would have to stay in the 3:1 gear ratio range. 4:1 or higher should hit the rev limiter at slower top speeds.

there's always some Ass deliberately spoiling the trip... 60 mile trip... basically 100km (97km to be a little more accurate) My 212, I have no idea what it uses per recorded distance. My 49cc 2 stroke scooter/moped would use. 4.7litres per 100km at 50 to 55km/h and the 250cc motorcycle would use 3.1litres at 100km/h (yes the motorcycle uses way less gas than the moped, while doing twice the speed) I'd be interested to know how much a minibike uses, and the average speed too, I hope you tell us!

Day 7 of asking a gx390 in a bt200x frame. Tc vs straight chain.
@williamstamper442Ай бұрын
Ive got 2 identical doodlebug framed minis, both with 212s modified in the exact same way. Both are running wheelie bars. One has a torq-a-verter which started straight chinese but since been upgraded with a bunch of genuine comet parts. The other is running a Hilliard inferno centrifugal clutch. The whole purpose was to directly compare the differences between each final drive system. Gearing is optimized for each setup but by no means similar on each mini. Both bikes run pretty close in the 1/8. CVT bike has run 9.10@ 68 and the centrifugal bike has run 8.90s@74. The CVT bike is on the wheelie bars for the first 150 feet sometimes as far as 300 feet (!). The centrifugal could easily be run without wheelie bars but for consitency i keep the bars on both. The cam is same in each mini, im gonna call the grind by NX their "cheater cam" and leave it at that. When playing around on the street, a certain way you roll the throttle on the centrifugal bike from a roll/cruising speed it will sucdenly loft the front wheel so fast it will scare you. The CVT bike will simply pick up the front by snapping the throttle at any speed 30mph or below, sometimes even higher. Its been an interesting comparison so far, had a lot of fun. Which one do i prefer? Not sure i love 'em both.
