Bernth, thanks for this wonderful exercise, Sir! I am a 64 year old, retired music professor. My major was the guitar. While teaching I was also out gigging for many years while I was raising my children. My hands are, well, badly trained. I see clearly how you are ~almost~ always using one finger-per-fret positioning, at least until a stretch is needed; like at that 7-12 hammer-on and pull off. Now, I can reach that with the forbidden "thumb up above the neck", but don't have the pinky power to slam 12 down when my thumb is down behind the fretboard where it should be. I can't even explain that I'm able to do that when everything says I shouldn't be able to. Maybe demonic possession, LOL. Anyway, I am now getting blessed by watching you young guys and gals tear it up, and also give an old rocker new tricks . . . I feel like I am getting paid back: for trying to help new players to have a treasured gift for life, even as you are doing. Keep up the great work, and keep your own music coming at us. And always be blessed!
Thanks Bernth, had been looking into finger rolling as it was the biggest deficit in my sweep picking, keep on the good work mate

Just what I needed!! Sweeps are my week spot and I've watched TONS of videos over the years. This channel seems to really nail all the issues I'm having and this one is SUPER helpful!! Thanks a bunch! 🤩

Day 1: Level 2-3 (30-40 BPM) Day 2: Level 5-6 (60-70 BPM) Day 3: Level 6-7-(~8) (60-80~ BPM) Day 4: - Day 5: Level 8 (90 BPM) (Trying to play it without mistakes / probably gonna stay here for a while) Day 6: - Day 7: Level 8 (90 BPM) (still here) Day 8: Level 8 (Good) - Level 9 (Not clean enough) Day 9: Level 8 (Now easy) - Level 9 (Cleaner) - Level 10 (Not clean enough) Day 10: - Day 11: - Day 12: Had to start using metronome. I've been trying to get the technic correctly so I can increase speed since I feel like im stuck. Im taking things slowly and went to 90-100 bpm until I can play it perfectly. Day 13: - Day 14: - Day 15: It's been two weeks and I still suck. I have a few days where I didn't practice but I don't seem to be able to play faster than 90-100 bpm. Even at that speed Its a 50/50. My technique on my right hand seems to be getting better but my left hand after a few minutes gets so tense it can't even do a pull-of correctly. I am very dissapointed but will continue trying. My goal for know is to reach 100 bpm and play it PERFECTLY. Day 16: - Day 17: - Day 18: After again two days of not playing (maybe 3 idk). I was actually able to play with much less tension and play 100 bpm pretty ok. At this moment Im not trying to get faster but get comfortable and get my technique down at 100 bpm. Day 19: I started feeling more comfortable at this speed. Now I am pushing 110 bpm Day 20: - Day 21: Feeling good at 100-105. Day 22: - Day 23: Still trying to reach 110 BPM
