"Drive the Landcruiser as if you had stolen it"🤣😂🤣! Best recommendation ever! Charlie and Phil seem really to have gotten the hang of it on the last leg of the journey: no more getting bogged down or stranded, despite atrocious dirt roads 👏👏👏! Thank you for sharing those incredible pictures of the big migration! Looking forward to your next adventures!

@@philharmer6052 Congratulations to you and Charlie: you are fast learners! I was feeling for you getting bogged down: I had to go through it too, on a LK HZJ75, but in West Afrika: most horrific "roads" at the time, around Lake Chad in the rainy season, and this in a conflict area! I learned very fast, as the alternative was simply a no-go.....

I don’t know when you filmed this but April &?May are quite wet in both Serengeti and Ngorongoro and late June/ July is the better time and you can see the migration from a distance at the Mara river ( you can view it at the Grumeti as well but the Mara river one is more spectacular one and also heartbreaking as you see the young zebras and wildebeests taken by huge crocs) Serengeti is truly magical and you might have seen it in the movies and documentaries a hundred times but just being there in person beats it all. Ngorongoro is expensive but we stayed in a safari lodge for a few days there and it was all inclusive and the tariff is pretty steep. Kenya and Tanzania charge much more than Botswana or Namibia or even South Africa. I was seeing you guys navigating through the slushy African mud and I was thinking you guys were there in April or May which is quite wet. Are you going back down South from Kenya or ending it? I think you should go back south 😀 Actually Uganda and Rwanda are quite beautiful too but after that you should head South to Zambia and Zimbabwe again. Get the bang for your buck for shipping your car there 😌

You’ll have to stay tuned to see where we end up and it was in January time.. shouldn’t have been wet

P.S For all the Land cruiser fanatics out there, Charlie and I are sorry 😂 Complete beginners, first timers, virgins etc. We were baptised in fire! 🔥 we loved our car, and we think it loved us too? we made mistakes and got stuck, but we had a blast and learned a lot! From the trip into the camp and getting stuck multiple times, to driving out 2 days later in worse conditions and not getting stuck once, we definitely improved! And we grew to love our wagon immensely! 🙏🏻 All I will say for anyone else doing this kind of thing, is you don’t need a half tonne cutlery draw on the back of ANY vehicle! Peace! ✌🏻
@TheLandyExpedition7 ай бұрын
I think the cutlery drawer is at least a tonne 😂😂 you’re right though that second day out with no trouble. Foot flat!!!

You provide good content and information. I am glad you don’t use sponsors for fad health drinks etc, etc like many do, but maybe an equipment provider. All the best.
