Roshan I think he means the lead that causes a shitload of gunk to build up pretty quick. Like with lead pellets when you hold em in your sweaty hand your hand will be covered in gray liquid lead in a couple minutes.

You had better luck with the Fed Automatch than I did with my Ruger 10/22. Ended up returning a bunch to Federal (great customer service BTW) as it just ran inconsistently with notable hotter and almost squib loads through my 10/22 which practically eats everything. I'm amazed it performed as well as it did for you.

Not the record, Tom Frye used a Remington Nylon 66 shooting 1000 rounds per hour over 13 eight hour days totaling just over 100,000 rounds to break a world record shooting 2.5 inch wood blocks out of the air (thrown by hand) only missed six times. Amazing true story you should look up. Great work & vids thank you for your service.

Overall, it's a great poor man's stress test. That's pretty reliable. The can still does a great job even after thousands of rounds. The baffles must be well made inside it. He fired it for 20 minutes full auto before it started to get gacked up. That's pretty good.

Eric....people shoot more 22lr than you think. I regularly go through 3 boxes of Automatch in a session, the Butler Creek mag loader makes it so fast to reload 25 rounders you don't notice how many rounds your using. I would love to shoot more, but up here in Canada a box of Automatch is $32 + tax! 11-15 cents per pull of the trigger really puts a damper on the fun!) I keep records of all my shooting and in 2016 I put 26,867 rounds through my RIA 10/22 clone alone! So if 2200 +/- is indeed the world record LOOK OUT!!! I'm going to break your record! Thanks for the videos! IV8888 is my favourite channel.

I think the failure here was installing a suppressor onto the gun. I get you were trying to increase the probability of a heat failure but in my opinion it improved the ability of the weapon to survive due to excessive fouling.
