Levi Strauss Kel Tec has addressed a LOT of issues in the last couple years. They actually listen to what the customers say. And I believe they now put metal feed lips on the mags. That's an issue with any .22 when it gets hot and gummy. 10-22s will do it, too.

Now when ever someone whines about not being able to find .22, I'll have a little mental cut scene that will go a something like this. There will be a extreme close up of Chad smiling as he tucks himself into bed, followed by a mid shot where him pulling the covers over himself exposes hundreds of boxes of .22 under his bed. then a cut to Eric manically laughing as a slow pan out to a birds eye reveals a constant convoy of trucks pulling up behind the ammo table and unloading. This is what happens behind the table out of view of the camera. "and in tonights breaking news in Georgia, a massive surge in the wood chuck population"

Eric....people shoot more 22lr than you think. I regularly go through 3 boxes of Automatch in a session, the Butler Creek mag loader makes it so fast to reload 25 rounders you don't notice how many rounds your using. I would love to shoot more, but up here in Canada a box of Automatch is $32 + tax! 11-15 cents per pull of the trigger really puts a damper on the fun!) I keep records of all my shooting and in 2016 I put 26,867 rounds through my RIA 10/22 clone alone! So if 2200 +/- is indeed the world record LOOK OUT!!! I'm going to break your record!
