Ok he hits the ball and then the ball comes back and he hits it again, Ok with luck that could happen once and be believable. Over and over again would be impossible due to the ball coming in at a slightly different random angle every time the batter would have no way to adjust and compensate for that. Not to mention each time it bounces it would get a slightly different angle that he has no control over just due to speed and air resistance.
