This is such an unexpected combination of instruments. Bass clarinet, xylophone, french horn, low brass, and kazoos makes for such a textured, robust sound that adds metaphorical burn to an ice age themed piece. I remember hearing the bass clarinet melody in the beginning sold me- so amazing

Well in the first 3 world when the zomboss says that time travelling can lead to mix of timelines maybe this what is means because in frostbite caves we can hear the kazoo similar as the dark ages showing the over lapping of timelines. It also happens in Jurrasic Marsh where you can hear some wood knockings just like in Pirate Seas and the Wild West. Till we reach the Modern world we can see the all the timelines are now overlapping creating portals from the past and future to the present there the music of ultimate battle of modern world has every bit of every world.
