lights need to play as a shadow. see 1 separate from their team take em out, your team gets wiped revive them, cash out box run it, opened area run into the buildings or roofs, unilities are important. almost play like a batman

@@SukixChaosI’m a light main since beta and this is the best comment I’ve seen related to light. Light is extremely strong when your game sense is good. You really need to play safe and you need to analyze the enemy team composition and the one that is separated from their team. Like you said it, utilities are very important on light. I run glitch grenade, gateway and stun gun. Sometimes, when I’m low hp and a player starts pushing my mates, I stun them and run away just to help my team for getting the kill. W comments!

I think all of the light specializations are viable. You don’t grapple into the fight you grapple out. And you don’t evade in, you evade out. I’ve pulled off some crazy stuff with the grapple. It all depends on how fluent you are with your specialization and knowing its strengths and weaknesses. I do agree that cloak is ridiculously easy to use and overpowered though

What should the heavy and medium be running in this comp. Med- Heal beam/turret, fcar/ak , jump pad, defib and zip Heavy- shield, shotty, dome, RPG and c4/anti-gravity? What do you do about gas grenades/cannisters

You know what youre talking about. I like the H M L team comp beacouse of the lights gateway and mediums jump pad. When you dash onto the jump pad you can fly across the whole map in seconds so just place one gateway near the jumpad and the other on the place you want your team to be. When talking about the specialization i think the invisibility isn't a must have becouse you can always place the gateway as a way out

Interesting guide. As a solo queue sword dash player, you can't rely on your teammates. If they aren't in vc, then you need to be able to skill diff or you lose. People will complain, people will insult you, but you simply have to focus solely on yourself. With that play style, and a team that knows how to play off you, you will get your whole team double digit kills, and fully wipe enemy teams. This guide tells me you don't main light, and a big part of light is being able to say "Fuck the meta, I'm capable." It's about playstyle. The problem I'm seeing, is people trying to use light because it can naturally solo. Light is not a class you just pick up and win. Especially if you like using a more obscure weapon like throwing knives or dagger. People are mad about lights that don't know how to use the weapon they are playing. But then, it's more just being a new user then a bad player.

Same for overwatch, people will one trick some symmetra against phara and echo and hope that team will play around them to at least try and win with a person that just don’t care. And overwatch os about team setups and counters

@@sagunaro9997 It's more of a knowing how light is played. I'm sure us one tricks appreciate your patience, but I think I've said this wrong. We enjoy playing like we do, and we are better at sed thing than a gun more often than not. Light, played by a onetrick, will go in and take the eyes off the mediums and heavies. In a team centered game, to properly one trick sword, you have to disregard your teammates. If you can't team wipe, then sword and dagger lose all competitive value. When I say play off of, I mean shoot while the melee player is annoying the enemy. It's more a communication and communitys views thing.

To all those asking "why should we play off you", thats a stupid arguement. If you dont pay attention to your teammates and find opportunities to strike at the enemy team through them, you are missing the point of it being a team based game. Even without vc, your teammates are getting in their own fights, seeing enemies you arent (even if they arent pinging for some reason) and working towards the same goal you have. Light ESPECIALLY utilizes teamplay. High speed and stealth capabilities are great for solo and helping out others. You can pop into a gunfight unexpectedly and turn your ally's 1v1 into a 2v1, or cleanup a fight they lost and get a quick rez. Sneak around to regroup with your team without drawing the attention of enemies you arent ready to deal with, get behind enemy fortification and make an opening for your team by picking off a medium or tossing a glitch grenade. Acting like you're too good for teamplay is cringe as hell.
