*SCAM - DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY* This watch is very poorly made. I actually received a completely different designed watch than what the photos on their website showed. Their customer service is horrible, next to impossible to get a return. They publish 30 days returns, but it is actually 3 days.

What is the difference between the raptor pro and the raptor with that built-in GPS? I need something that is good for somebody that goes hunting fishing and all that outdoor stuff. Can you download a gps feature? Thank you in advance

I currently have the Amazfit T-Rex and have enjoyed if over the last few years. However, there are things it does that I don't like along with Metrix that it doesn't give me/won't give me for whatever reason. Your review on the Alpha Gear Raptor Pro has me sold. I'm looking forward to getting it in a few days. Thanks for putting this up as it made all the difference in my purchase.

All of these "Ultra Rugged" smart phones are made by the same Chinese children and are garbage. I got one for my wife and one for my son who is a Marine and needed a very rugged watch to handle harsh environments. This Alpha Watch has a challenge syncing with the iPhone, Notifications rarely come through. My wife wanted a watch to track fitness metrics as well as heart rate, and the back fell off during a workout at the gym. WTF? She is a nurse, and some of the metrics are not accurate. The GPS locator is also not accurate. Definitely NOT worth the price... All because we didn't want to buy the more expensive Samsung or Garvin Smartwatches.

Very nice simple well thought out review one question though when you have the timer set for screen off, If you just move your wrist will it turn back on or do you have to click the button on the watch to get a display?

I just want to know if it will control music as a remote for my phone on Android if I use Bluetooth speakers

Connects to your phone, so if you’re listening to something on your phone through earbuds or something, you can change the song by pushing next or back, but you cannot connect it to a Bluetooth speaker

I'm assuming it's waterproof/water-resistant? You show using it in some type of canoe... So is it water-resistant?

yes, I mean i shower with it, fish with it on, it gets wet. I dont swim with it on, but i also dont swim alot. lol. Everyday life, i never take it off (wear it during giving baths to kid, dishes, my own shower, rain, fishing, hand in water grabbing fish, etc).

Do you know how to keep the heart rate monitor on so that it displays on the clock face properly? I have not been able to find out how to do that.

no, but if that was the case (i have had other watches like that) i will just rotate watch around so face is on underside (or just take watch off).

Just received my Raptor (T88 model) and the instructions need a magnifying glass to read the micro text pamphlet and I have no clear idea how this magnetic end to the USB charger cable works. The dots on back of watch is where I put the cable and it wont align to that area due to the magnetic opposite pushing the cable to the side???

there is a QR code that you can scan and it will bring up instructions videos on your phone.

@@j2fit I figured this out minutes after making this post. I had the right idea but the adaptor was being put on backwards on back of watch's charging area with two dots and a 180degree swap made it attach perfectly and charge unit.

I’ve had several different watches from Alpha Strong and I love them, but I have a problem. I got the Delta Pro about five months ago and I was sitting outside last night. It come on and I seen what time it was and I let my wrist down and it went off and I got up to my room to look at it and it wouldn’t come back on. I have tried to charge it and I checked it today and it’s not charging or something is going on with the watch. Do you guys know any way to fix it or do you know what the problem could be, I don’t know if it’s the cord or the watch if you know, I appreciate you write me back thank you

hard to tell. try cleaning the back of the watch sensors (metal prongs) with damp, not wet cloth, see if there is any build up (sweat, salts, dirt) that may be interfering with charging. could also be your cord. Not sure though.

not even close. the garmin is much better, but understand this is a fraction of the price... its like asking how a $25k sedan is compared to a 50k one... That said, it tracks me fine on my runs

Slide down on the screen to the access the quick settings dial, and hit the battery looking icon. That will toggle power save (which will include toggling the wrist wake mode)

@@thetrailkrewpage1752 no idea then, I’m doing it right now on my watch. Make sure you have low power mode off (when it is on it says it will decrease brightness, wrist raise, and vibration). Make sure you also have screen lock setting set how you want it. All that is in settings on watch itself

You can control your music through this Bluetooth, bit you need your phone. Can’t download music to the watch (not like it’s an iPod)

SCAM ALERT ⚠️ This company and the watches they sell are crap! And many of the features they advertise are spotty at best, or don't work at all i.e. the sleep monitoring mode. I've heard of certain companies "sponsoring" people to give their products a positive review...not saying that's the case here, but I've heard of that. Furthermore, you have to download their app in order to use some of the features. I'm one of those nerds that actually reads the "terms and conditions." One of the sections stated that you agree to abide by certain things related to the people's republic of China...screw that noise!!! I'm an American!!! 🇺🇸

@@tompirozek4490 yea I wouldn’t trust the Bp reading. I don’t find a ton of value in the BP or O2 reader, but it’s also $100 and I want it for time keeping, messages, and basic gps.
