Great video. I pulled the trigger on one of these after watching and reading the comments. My Granite BLX servo packed up after 20 battery packs and I'm poor and a newbie. This brand looks like a good option.

Awesome! Should work good for you. Make sure you get the proper servo horn from Arrma as well. This is a 25T servo spline instead of the 23T Spektrum uses.

ZOSKAY are my go to servos for anything I have that needs a heavy duty servo. I’ve never ever had an issue with any of them. Great products.. great review Troy

Awesome video Troy, i installed these servos on all my Arrma vehicles and one thing that stands out is that when servo is installed and you turn the steering wheel on the controller left or right, its inverted, i had to switch the steering on the controller to reversed so it turns correctly. No one talks about this on KZbin.
@RoadsideRC8 ай бұрын
Good point! Yes - standard servos operate in reverse of Spektrum - not really sure why. Have fun!

Very nice always good to have more servo options, this hobby is expensive enuff and we want the best performance and reliability to price that we can get. I have never heard of or ran one, been installing the 9imod 14v direct power servo in all my trail rigs but watching your video this one looks like it has the torque and speed that I like for a little$$ less out of the wallet, I will keep this one in mind for my next servo purchase👍💯👍💯👍💯👍

Have you thought about putting a BEC on it with a Rx bypass adapter that way you can get the full 8.4 volts to the servo.

Great review thank you! Are you still running this servo & is it still performing great? My redcat fusion blew out 2 servos, stock Hexfly & an Ecopower crawler servo that I had in my Ecto for the last 5 months! I was looking at the Zoskay 35kg until I came across the 45kg!
@RoadsideRC4 ай бұрын
Yes - this servo works great! I have two different Redcat Ascents - and both are still running the stock servos. I'm curious if you have something else going on that is causing the servos to fail? End points not set correctly, etc?
@caponecruz62594 ай бұрын
@@RoadsideRC It's weird how it destroyed both servos. My Ecto has had the EcoPower since December last year, running on Proline Baja Pros, predator compound, with Exocaged Rc Fat Boy inserts & never had an issue with the servo! When I got my Redcat Fusion, I bought the Proline Hyrax tires, predator compound, & never had issues with the Hexfly servo which was brand new! Then I swapped out the tires, putting the Baja Pro's from my Ecto to my redcat Fusion & that's when the Hexfly took a shit, then the Ecopower! I have the stock Reedy servo that was once upon a time in the Ecto is now in my Fusion hoping it'll hold until I can afford to get a reefs servo! The Zoskay 45kg is going into my Ecto! I got new rack & pinion gear for the front diff on my Ecto too to replace the stripped parts! If this Zoskay is that good, I'm a get one for the Fusion too!

I have the exact servo, as it happens. ;) Something I think is worth mentioning. As strong as I find this servo is, for the price. Not the fastest servo out there. Just saying. Another cool over view Troy. I really believe that servos are very over rated " as far as Brand Name" These are more than enough for MOST general hobbyists, IMO. Thumbs up bud. AND Merry Christmas Brother. Hope you and the Family have a great one. All the best in the New Year.

Do you know if it's compatible with the hosim X08? It has a very strange size servo in the middle of a micro and a standard size, I've yet to find a 3rd party upgrade that fits.
@RoadsideRC Жыл бұрын
This is a standard sized servo. Unless you make a custom bracket, you will be using the stock Hosim servo as a replacement.

I noticed when I clicked on your link it asks me if I wanted a 270° or a 180° servo? I want to get this for my ecx amp mt kit. Which would you recommend? I am only putting a Spektrum 4000kv brushless motor and 85 amp esc in it.
@RoadsideRC Жыл бұрын
For MOST surface RC applications, 180* works best. Good luck with the upgrades!

@@RoadsideRC cool. Yeah this is meant to be a very light basher truck. Some occasional 50 mph runs. Nothing too big out of this one. I've got my Senton for extreme bashing.

There's a lot of servo snobs out there for sure. I'm not saying those companies don't have high performance products but when $40-$50 dollar servos serve my purpose and saves me $100 in the process from a namebrand servo and put my truck back on the rocks, I know what I'm choosing! lol Now if you need the absolute best of the best for a 2k comp monster then by all means, you know? Nothing wrong with that either!
