Glad you are enjoying your stay here. Argentina is huge, is as you were from Lisboa to Moscow in the same country, you could stay swiming with 40° in one corner and skiing in the oposite side at the same time. We have an strong british influence in infraestructure since XX century but with a mixed of spanish/italian culture from our grandparents.

Bienvenidos!

Is it a challenge to find restrooms?
@KittiandJon2 күн бұрын
I mean most cafe's, ice cream stores etc. have them if you're happy to buy a coffee/ice cream. Can't remember seeing a huge number of public toilets but we also weren't really looking for them.

There are no public restrooms but in touristic areas you can go into any caffe or restaurant. Mc Donald's type of restaurant is ideal to do this even if you are not planning to eat anything.

Buses and subway can be paid with credit and debit card. No need to have a SUBE card, unless you want to travel outside of Buenos Aires city.
@KittiandJon3 күн бұрын
Thanks that’s good to know 😊 for us it was beneficial to have the SUBE as we were going to other places 👍 also with a foreign card you’d probably rack up foreign transaction fees doing this!

0:41 literally, you cut city of BUENOS AIRES in half.. i dont know where you get that map, but is WRONG... It could be that very British habit of ignoring the limits of maps
@KittiandJon2 күн бұрын
Feel like this comment was a little below the belt considering my wife and I have absolutely nothing to do with the decision making processes behind what I presume you're referring to. Apologies if the map is wrong, it's merely meant to highlight how much bigger the metropolitan area is compared to the city itself. Mistakes can happen.

Argentina is no longer a place to visit with those insanely high prices. As expensive as those found in Paris. It is not worthy.
@KittiandJon2 күн бұрын
Yes the prices have gone up dramatically compared to even a year ago and it's no longer a super budget destination, but it's DEFINITELY not as expensive as Paris! Fairly sure you'll have trouble finding a nice apartment in Paris for less than $40 a night! And the scenery across the country makes up for the higher prices in our opinion, especially if you enjoy the outdoors, hiking and being in nature :)

Saludos.
