The most traditional of all of them is Freddo. It has just two parlors at the beginning until it´s became a chain. Rapanui is originally a chocolate factory, not an ice cream one. You´ve been only in northen Buenos Aires, but in the south you have Saverio which is the oldest and most traditional ice cream parlor in the city. Anyway as you could see there are many many options out there. Some traditional and some "gourmety". I think it´s quite hard to find out which one is the best. Also, you should have tried the same flavour at every shop to be able to compare. Nice video.

Cadore's specialty is Dulce de Leche. Every place has an specialty. Dulce de leche is kind of the safe choice to go, it is actually hard to find a bad dulce de leche ice cream in Buenos Aires.

The problem is that with the exception of Cadore and Via Flaminia they did NOT go to artisan ice cream parlors. All the ones they visited are commercial and produced in factories. (and a specific distinction is made here). In addition, they did NOT find out which are the best of each ice cream parlor (which invalidates the comparison). For example: Cadore has a bitter chocolate with spices that would have been more if your taste.

Yes that’s true, but also not every place has exactly the same flavours or for example we know that dulce de leche in Argentina is excellent regardless of the place so we wanted to try different ones to also find out about other flavours. I was puzzled when I saw people in line for Ice Cream at Mc Donald’s in Buenos Aires!!🤦🏻🤦🏻 So many excellent ice cream parlours and yet people go there. Well I should not be judging because as we also mentioned in our video, it’s taste and people are different so maybe they prefer that one.
