Yes, I remember them advertised in CB mags back in the day and I really fancied getting one myself, but I ended up selling my Multimode 2 to get a Colt 1600DX instead, it's basically the same radio inside but with no UK40 ... Thanks for the show 'n' tell, those were happy days.

Have you tried flicking the ANL and NB switch mine in the 80s went from 25:500 ish to 28:500 it had extra channels on
