If you time it correctly you can do that forever and have tremendous amounts of movility , Commando Droids besides the jet trooper are the most movile units in the game.

The trick to the BX is that it is a melee reinforcment. The reason people struggle with it and think it is so weak is because they tend to try to play it like any other class or reinforcement, IE shoot shoot shoot shoot. The gun is literally only there for two reasons, when you are forced to engage in long range, or when you are finishing off someone you just made prone with your 3rd melee strike. (and even then with the recharge rate, especially with heroes, laying back into them with melee hits is the best option). The true way to play a BX is to use the dodge card and their natural fast run and leap dodge to your advantage, zip around the battlefield, and flank EVERYONE. They are essentially an assassin droid and are best when you get behind people, throw down smoke to cover yourself, hit the thermal vision (heal card helps here), and melee the hell out of people, with quick blaster bursts in between, then dodge leap yourself out of the fight preferably right as the smoke fades. It is probably the most tactical non-hero in the game atm and is very underappreciated. The BX can absolutely melt heroes and solo clear objectives, etc if lucky and played properly, particularly if flanking is an option.

That being said, a well played Anakin will still buttsex a BX (unless you get lucky or the Anakin player is bad) so it balances out lol. Also they can't charge into large groups unless the group is closely clustered or all very unaware of you.

You can also use the smoke as a distraction: inexperienced players are more likely to think you're hiding inside it, whilst you can actually throw it down and then find some other cover to sneak around and flank them.

I think the best is to shoot while you are getting close and jumping at the same time. Enemy can't hit so easily. Then you shall hit with sword. But I know this is old comment, but I just mentioned.

With the Acquisition star card that marks people who damage you it is more useful for the Commando droid than the Arc trooper because you can use it with the smoke grenade and see through it and as everyone knows the Thermal Vision doesn’t last quite long enough

I don't think it needs a buff. I get plenty of kills with it as is. You just suck at aiming. I get owned constantly by a commando droid. His greatest strength is his vibrosword. I wasn't paying attention and he sliced me up. They move so fast, it's hard to even hit them. They don't need a damage buff, they need a speed nerf. And vibrosword nerf. If you don't like nerfs, be happy with what you got.

The commando droid is probably among the most well rounded non heroes in the game. Fast, agile, damaging in range and dangerous up close, with awareness and evasive capacity anyone else would kill for, it’s like a budget hero in itself. It’s to the point where it’s the ONLY reinforcement that has a snowballs chance in hell of taking a Jedi on in a straight fight and win (of course, take care to engage on your own terms and try to use your attack chain to whalop them off the map if possible), while ranged heroes can be flat out killed fairly easily. And of course if you run with a full fireteam of people you know and trust at your back, a full squad of four can mob, clear and defend an objective from almost anything, especially if you surround and swarm high priority targets. Just don’t expect to do anything then draw their tanks attention. Because their gun is better suited to infantry engagements, and they lack stronger attacks aside from the sword, Commando droids have no real answer for heavy ordinance of that caliber except to bob and weave like hell. You definitely do have the means to stand between the eyes, which is a major blind spot (if you jump on while the tank is slow or still, it usually shouldn’t be able to run you over) , but it’s a bit of a rodeo maintaining that as it moves, let alone while surrounded by clones. You can also stay under it, as the entire bottom is a blind spot. Just make sure to wait until it’s slow or still, lest it run you down at full speed.

A quick tip if your hiding behind cover and you have enemies coming from both sides throw down a smoke grenade on one side and move to the other. Or throwing a smoke grenade and then activating vision will allow you to see through so while your enemies are shooting aimlessly into the smoke you can get some kills while hidden. If your being chased by a lightsaber hero use a combination of dash then Melee allows you to move very fast while you use melee your dash recharges make sure your sprinting while doing this.

I stopped playing this game after the Solo update, simply because I was frustrated with all of the trouble with the game early on. After I heard about the Rise of sky walker update, I finally figured...”why the hell not?” First day of play with command conquest, and I was the droids fighting to save our ship part, I finally earned enough to try a reinforcement. This was the first one I chose, and on my first time I killed Yoda twice and Obi-wan once. It’s now my favorite new reinforcement!

I've been useing BX since launch and found some nasty ways to use him. Also I think it's better to use Interrogation over Acquisition unless you fight at long ranges. Also his Dodges recharge really fast without Evasion but with the card your movement is double. Desperation 100% I love this card. One last thing he jumps really high now. (Just do tests with BX he is super deadly when use right.) Ps. This is not meant to say he is wrong in any way there is so many ways to use star cards in this game that there is no right anser. It's just here so you remember that there is other ways. (Also Thank you for reading)😘

The Arc Trooper is stronger than it should be because there is a bug that has the left pistol shoot twice as fast as it should. So overall the Arcs have triple the fire rate instead of double

Poor Commando Droids got the short end of the stick compared to the ARC trooper: ARCs get dual pistols that melt people at close range, Commando Droids get a longer range version of an assault blaster. ARCs get a shock grenade that makes enemies flop around like wet noodles and become easy targets, Commando Droids get a smoke bomb that blinds them as much as the enemy Not only is the Commando Droid's recon ability shorter than the ARCs', but it lasts less than the smoke stays up, meaning you can't use it to see through the could at all times. ARCs get a RB ability that gives them an accurate, long-range shot with lots of power, Commando Droids get another button for their melee (no joke, press the melee button and it uses the vibrosword all the same, using charges and everything.)

I prefer the Commando Droid over the Arc Trooper.. I love how quick he is and that Vibro Sword is just awesome. Im actually good with the blasters damage but would agree it needs slightly less spread. The Commando just feels great to play with to me, fits my play style and i wish i could use him on every map.

Something I do is that, when you have the ability to get the jump on someone/multiple people, treat him like he doesn’t have a gun, always use the blade. Usually people don’t have time to react before you get your hits off

I'm not sure if this was implemented after this video was made as I only started playing two months ago, but there is a small thing about the Commando Droids which I think is a very useful tip to new players. Just like Grievous and Bossk, the Commando Droid can jump pretty high if you hold the jump button. This might be common knowledge but I didn't know it at first, and once I figured it out it completely changed the way I used them.

I broke an Anakin once as the Commando droid. I think I glitched out his block and attack because I was dodging him and using my sword, then he used his pull and didn’t attack and just stood there. Then he ran away and I took most of his health then he killed himself using respawn in the pause menu

If I'm not mistaken, the Super Battle Droid has the lowest health of the Enforcers, but I think some of the higher damage output.

It has unlimited health regen like I mentioned 🤦‍♂️ In arcade with double health, if you lose 600HP you'll regain 600HP. The 350 on screen is meant to show you can regen all the way to 350 👍

I started using the commando droid and really like it, have done pretty well with its gun, but that sword is quick! I tried against a jedi but only got a slash in before they got me. Need dodge practice. In hallways and surprise enemy that sword is amazing. Wow you play like a madman, great targeting, but you move so fast and camera spin it makes me nauseous to watch it.
