1 extra thing I think people could use is using every inch of the track so starting as wide as possible for corner entry and aiming your exits toward the outer edge to carry the most speed and that’s super useful for TA and stuff like that

The usual meaning of trail braking is that you initially brake hard into a turn the normal way but ease off the brakes gradually as you're turning instead of coming off them immediately.

This is a good video to educate players to improve in grand races. HOWEVER, there is an elephant in the room: Simgii is using wheel mode, an advantage that 99% players don't have.

@@billybobjoe2612 What he meant is that simgii and other PC pilots have the clutch option in the game configuration and can be activated passively without needing to have a G29 or thrustmaster, playing control what does the clutch do? in the video this is clear, the efficiency in gear changes I will cite an example about the f40 from tier 2, the gear changes made on the PS4 or PS5 consoles using a controller have their delay and normal power loss, in the same example the changes of the f40 made with a clutch, whether they are activated passively in the settings that only the PC provides without the need for a Logitech gearbox or another brand, they have the efficiency compared to the changes of the koenigsegg jesko or equivalent to those of other cars in other categories but with the same efficiency without loss of power or engine speed during shifts, this results in significant gains in performance throughout the race, even more so on low-speed technical tracks where shifts are constant. Combined with experience, race reading and a quality PC, we have everything we need to always occupy the top positions. Playstation or x box players in the settings only appears in the gearbox part, manual or automatic with 2 options. For PC players it appears, automatic, manual or manual + clutch, there are 3 options. NOTE: if you have it in the game, you can use it. I'm a PlayStation 4 fat edition player, I have a bad gaming experience, with crashes, frequent fps drops and slow changes, the map barely loads when there are many drivers together, especially at the beginning of the race, causing me to perform below what I can. deliver but it's part of using what you have. I discovered it and told Simgii about it some months ago xd. It only seems to work with the Tacoma. Z4 and 959 don't have the nos power to clear it completely even with a full bar of nos. You can do a complete clean landing with the Tacoma if you have a high speed before hitting the jump, full nos and dumping all nos.

Direct mode is not easy, there is a learning curve to it.

The previous settings video I did was before Direct Mode was implemented. In order to have the best experience (prior to direct mode update) when dealing with the steering filter that was present was by lowering your linearity to 0 (to produce the most sensitive steering possible). Now with direct mode (1:1 steering no steering filter bs) you don't need that extra sensitivity (you actually need to tone down the sensitivity) which can be achieved by raising the steering linearity from 50 (default) to 100 to dampen the steering range for the most optimal experience.

Depends the car in the clip you are referring to but I do use clutch and it helps some cars.
