Needs a Fusion spell for it, though. Something like this: Crystal Fusion (Normal Spell) "Fusion Summon 1 "Ultimate Crystal God" or "Rainbow" Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, using monsters from your hand or field, and/or "Crystal Beast" cards in your Spell/Trap Zones as Fusion Materials. The monster Fusion Summoned this way gains 200 ATK for each "Crystal Beast" monster with a different name in your GY, also it is unaffected by your opponent's card effects this turn."

There are more types of gems than just the ones on the beasts (aquamarine, garnet, alexandrit, pearls, peridot, tourmaline, turquoise) and updated effects with a new rainbow dragon that doesn't cost me my citizenship to summon wouldn't hurt, maybe crystal beasts can take the union route and become tier 1

driftnick I don't think they would be, if konami didn't focus on fusion and rather went on a boss rush where the goal was to summon rainbow dragon variants (assuming they make more) as fast as possible and beat down the opponent with 4k beaters with at least some protection. Gem-Knights focusing on the extra deck and CB focusing on maindeck beaters could be an interesting concept

You can use future fusion though send 7 different cbs to the grave then summon the original rainbow the next turn that way you could have both Over and OG rainbow on field if opponent don't do anything lol

It's not too bad, I mean if you run Rainbow Dragon which isn't really that hard to play it gives you the option of different effects that won't screw you like Rainbow Dragons. I feel this card goes together with Ultimate Crystal Magic which lets you pretty much summon it for free as long as you run all the Crystal beasts.

3 Rainbow Dragons in hand + 7 Crystal beasts in GY = GG. Use one to summon the damn thing, tribute it and remove everything. Summon Another 2 (Because 7 Crystal beasts still in GY) then GG. However, it still need 1 Raid Bow dragon on the field to survive all those trap when summon first.

This card is bad. You need to fusion summon him using the 7 Crystal Beast monsters to use his shuffle effect. His alternate method of summon keeps him from using his shuffle effect because it is considered a special summon and not a fusion summon. Correct me if I am wrong on that.

Why do we not have Lunalight Fox, Chick OR the Crystal Beast Pendulum monsters yet? Now you know the plight of us Lightsworn players. On a serious note though, we don't have that support yet because nobody cares enough about those archtypes. At least, anymore. Also, this is a fusion monster, which means you can fusion summon it (Must be either Fusion Summoned, or Special Summoned by Tributing 1 "Ultimate Crystal God" monster, "Rainbow Dragon", or "Rainbow Dark Dragon" you control that is Level 10 (in *which* *case* *you* *do* *not* *use* "Polymerization"*)). If you have... 3 Crystal Beasts as spells, because this is Crystal Beasts, then used Crystal Beacon to special summon Carbuncle, that's 4 Crystal Beasts right there. *ALSO* note that this fusion doesn't say those Crystal Beasts need to be differently named (But you're going to use different names anyways, so meh), so you CAN use your 3 Eagles, 3 Cats and 1 Tiger to fusion with. Finally, if you use 7 different names to fusion this thing, you can special summon a Rainbow Dragon as well, both are 4 stacks, so you're gaming right there. If for some reason you can't kill the opponent that turn, you can first use the fusion to bounce everything back, then summon Rainbow Dragon and win next turn. Side note, " or *Special* *Summoned* by Tributing 1 "Ultimate Crystal God" monster, "Rainbow Dragon", or "Rainbow Dark Dragon" you control that is Level 10" means you aren't fusion summoning (Or Contact Fusing) this thing. But "You can Tribute this *Fusion* *Summoned* card; shuffle all cards on the field into the Deck." means you need to actually fusion summon this thing. That means if you care about the bouncing effect, you got to run a Polymerization, then fuse 7 monsters into it, then you can bounce everything.

The only way crystal beast are REMOTELY VIABLE is when run with true Draco and true Kings.... I tried them out and they aren't too bad... Master peace spam is easy with them and the true Kings get them to the spell and trap.zones fast

the alternative summon condition makes no sense. this card has too many restrictions. yet another troll design from konami. here are the biggest problems: it is a nomi fusion that has an alternative summoning method that is nonsensical because the removal effect requires it to be fusion summoned so reviving it makes it irrelevant, thereby being an unnecessary restriction. although the attack boost does not require waiting a turn, having both the once per turn clause and making temporary are unnecessary. here is what I would do: either remove the summon restriction entirely and make its effects based off being special summoned from the selected methods or do not give it the restriction that it needs to be fusion summoned to use the removal effect. second, either take away the once per turn clause or make the attack gain permanent. the removal effect when fulfilled is better because it can dodge effects more easily and does not require banishing every crystal beast in your graveyard.
