Unfortunately it doesn't have the revival effect because of the manga. In the Manga you had to kill the heads simultaneously to kill it, so they basically copy pasted that but into an IRL effect format. It's also Ren's (the person who used the White deck) final ace. Long story short, blame Arc-V Manga. lmao

It doesn't die easily at all and is effectively a 3300 double-attacking beater. It's relatively easy to summon too in any synchro-focused deck. In my opinion, that makes it a solid card. It's good Kaiju bait if nothing else *shrugs*

Actually, Deep Sea Diva is one-card this shit. Summon Diva->SS Atlantean Prince->Send Dragon to add... Whatever you need-> Activate Dragon adding a lv7 Mermail->Syncc Diva+Prince for Tatsukunoko->Sync with lv7 for this. And DSD is searchable. And, if you already have a level 7 in hand, add Moulinglacia with dragoons so you can screw with your opponent hand at turn0

Assumed you have another link on board, forgot to mention it. If you summon a Mastarboy(not too difficult in Mermail) without Normal Summon, you can have 2 Mastar Boy + Biphamet(with 4300 ATK and 4k Def) + another token with 4300/4k

Heres an thought. Maybe they went with the token effect over copy/pasting the revival effect of other the two because of the fact that this card has some synergy with Link monsters. For example using the token as a material for a link summon, recovering that token on the opponents turn, keeping pressure on the opponent or something like that.

For those that dont read the Arc-V manga, in the manga when the monster was destroyed it just appeared again, then the protagonist figured out that each head counted as 1 monster with the effect to revive the other, thats how they came up with the token

Honestly this is a very easy monster to summon if you have a synchro focused deck (like the black wing set which contains a few synchro tuners) and it's incredibly powerful as it allows you to summon a token with the exact same attack without the usual inability to attack plus it has an incredible effect that allows you to summon another token on your opponents turn leading to a great infinite tribute strategy as well allowing for a last minute increase in defense if needed. In short even if it didn't have a revival effect it is still an incredible card if put in the proper deck to summon it.

Well, there is a reason why it's effect was created to use a token......... it's manga counterpart's effect was that it literately was treated as two monsters (each head a different monster), and that if one head died the other head could revive it. Became important that it was two monsters when other card effects played into the fact that it was two monsters.

The only way to really get the most out of this is to pair it with something like mound of the bound creator to protect it better, but that kinda makes it super susceptible to battle destruction (Utopia the lightning...) And it'll always lose to kaijus unless you're also maining mask of restrict, which seems unlikely. Could also just run your own kaijus I suppose. As far as running this goes, you really need to build around it if you wanna make it reliably, otherwise there's just better monsters, even at the level ten mark like leo, keeper of the sacred trees.

Summoning a token with same stats is better than attacking twice because you would have two big monsters on board instead of just one and the revival effect forces you opponent to kill the token either before or at the same time as your monster except by battle

Well, this does help my Nekroz deck... ...kinda I'm able to go into White Aura Whale pretty often using deep sea diva, gishki vision, and either a manju or unicore So I gueeesss I could bring that back after my opponent destroys it (becomes a tuner after being destroyed) then synchro summon using clausolas I mean, that's really occasional and not consistent at all, but at least it's something it can be used for.

it's once per turn... but if it special summons itself, that makes it able to reuse the effect... And if you start the turn with a token, that means your opponent needs to destroy a token, destroy the new token you'll probably summon, and then destroy it... or they can just destroy both at the same time

Its just a gimmick card. I think they want it to be a hydra. You cut off one head, and it grows another. You destroy the token, it is replaced with another. You destroy the monster, the token (essentially) revives it.
