Thanks a lot crax for ths video i really enjoy it and also it helped me a lot to choose the right ROM for me which is ArrowOS, also i see that on minute 20:10 suddenly battery from ArrowOS goes from 24% to 19% with no explanation, i saw that perhaps that was a part of the video that was cutoff due to that the phone gets moved on that moment, have a nice day crax and thanks for all your reviews

I allowed all the phones to cool down for a while because the temperature was above 50°C. My intention was to have all the phones at a similar temperature range to obtain more precise results on the RAM management test. However, this caused a slight decrease in the battery percentage as well. And Thank you for taking the time to watch my video in detail.

Flash a kernel in evolution x It will be far better than arrow os Flash ryzen kernel for redmi note 8 Also evolution x is a good choice because we get Leica camera plus it supports more or less all kernels unlike arrow os where it stuck in bootloop when I flashed storm breaker kernel

Great content! I've recently turned into somewhat of an anti ewaste nut hehe with this I've decided to make maximize the lifespan of my gadgets and thus recently flashing my 4 year old s9. I used pixel experience rom (android 13), which was an absolute joy to use because how fluid the experience was... But one major issue I encountered was cell connection and LTE connection issues. Half of the time my phone would lose carrier connection. This is obviously a deal breaker as we all need cell service to go about our lives... With this I'd just like to ask, what rom has the most stable network connectivity? Thanks

Thank you for your comment. However, I cannot recommend any specific ROMs for your phone without personally testing them, and unfortunately, I do not have access to your specific device. I apologize for any inconvenience. However, you can try experimenting with ROMs such as Arrow OS, Evolution X, Project Elixir (if available),Pixel Experience/Plus.... I suggest trying out these ROMs and seeing which one works best for you based on your personal preferences.

Thank you for your comment. After conducting a brief search, I believe that the custom ROM development for your phone may have stopped (although I may be mistaken). However, I did find some older versions of popular ROMs such as Arrow OS, CRDroid, Resurrection Remix, Pixel Experience...... Unfortunately, I do not have access to your phone to personally recommend a ROM without testing it myself. I suggest that you try experimenting with different ROMs on your own and analyzing the results to determine which one best fits your preferences.

There was one slight error you made while sourcing the ROMs. Each ROM will have been developed by a different maintainer and because of this ram management may differ between the different ROMs because of the device trees used and not because of the android source code. Ideally when you want to be doing a review you need to message a maintainer to build each ROM so that you can ensure that the device trees are the same for each ROM.
