Oregon has had a lot of amazing backs. Stewart. JJ. LeGarrette. LaMichael. Kenyon. Rolls Royce... and many more. But to me, none of them were quite the same as De'Anthony. With DAT, you held your breath literally every time he got the ball. The guy was so explosive, so quick, and so good at making guys miss. Doubt Oregon will ever see another back quite like him but I hope I'm wrong. Also, funny story about the highlight starting at 6:57 - DAT actually screwed up and didn't block like he was supposed to, and QB Darron Thomas kinda threw the ball at him with a little frustration added to the pass, but he took it to the house and it ended up being one of his first breathtaking highlights. Then as soon as he got back to the sideline, Chip Kelly pulled him aside with a smile and said 'Hey, you know you missed your block!' :)

Crazy to think no one on that Oregon offense made it out in the NFL. Thomas just got cut and has been on 2-3 teams. Mariota traded to become a backup (only played 1 game). Josh Huff played 3 seasons never really became a starter on that Eagles offense. Royce Freeman is a 3rd-4th string RB. But yet that offense went to the Championship that year...
