You CAN do the exact same and land a job in less than a year too. I suggest a coding bootcamp and a ton of personal projects that not only interest you, but also incorporate skills that are valuable to future employers. Keep all your work in Github that way it's easy to find. It's not going to be easy, but it'll be worth it. Godspeed
