Ahhh! Tailwind is great, you should give it another try! In response to the "bajillion classes", if you want you can assign custom class names for the instances where you found you've added a lot of classes, , and reuse it within your components. Additionally, you can have an addon that sorts the class names alphabetically when you add them to the component, and also it will give you auto suggestions for class names as you're typing them out. The great thing about Tailwind (once you get past the initial learning curve) is that it's extremely quick to add styles to components (far quicker than raw css once you learn it). Awesome video btw! I'm definitely jealous of your editing skills. :)

You can write custom classes with tailwind in you css file, so you don’t have bloated components
@la_park10

Put all the tailwind utility classes that are the same in a module. For example, navigation links have the same styling and can be stored in a module.css file and imported into whatever component you want to use them. This way the code looks cleaner.

Freshman in college here. I was recently a part of a web dev team and I learned a lot about React. Gotta say I love how easy it is to use. Enjoyed the video man! If you don't mind, could I ask you for a recommendation on whether or not I should focus on learning one language/framework at a time? This is relevant to me because I tend to have a bunch of different things going on at once with classes, clubs, and my internship. If you have found good ways to manage this I would love to hear.

Agreed. 9/10 if it's a popular tool/package/framework/etc for a broad topic like styling and a glaring flaw like this comes up best practice imo is to check if the package has a way to handle it already and baring that find whatever package someone else who was frustrated made to solve it. The 1/10 is when you're using the wrong tool for the job or the job should be redefined to be achievable.

Hello! First things first, your visual masterpieces of videos are awesome. I am considering becoming a software developer of sorts, so I have a few questions if you have enough time. 1: What type of degree and education did you get? With the way you code, it must be the best of the best. I assume there has to be some continuous education because of Moore's Law, so how do you orchestrate that? 2: What is the job-hunting process like? Are jobs easy to find, or is it competitive? How do you stay the best of the best? 3: If I were to go the software route (I'm also considering being a Chiropractor through Palmer University), should I go through the military ROTC system at a tech college and serve as a Cyber Warfare Officer? I know you may or may not know much about the military part, but I'll take any advice I can get. Thank you so much Devonte Glitch Duncan (my go at guessing your middle name)! I look forward to a reply.

While i love how much you take care of your work life balance Im curious what your opinions are irt focus? I know there is plenty of research irt how long interuptions cause irt general productivity and the need for software developers to hold large states in memory adds yet more 'reset' time when returning to tasks. So without casting judgement im generally curious if you have considered the impacts of your interweaving of work and life has on productivity and if you think it minimal in your current schedule then what techniques you use to overcome the negative productivity effects of 'reset' time after distraction?
