Bubbles and glow sticks from the pound shop for the kids . I am from Scotland and we ended up handing them out to a few American families who’s children were about to have a tantrum, works a treat , stopped the tantrum and they had a souvenir from Scotland in Florida !

1. Gum..bring plenty..cant buy it in the park. 2. Small first aid kit. Yes they have first aid but it is easier to just pull a band aid out of your bag. 3. Gold bond friction. Comes in a tube. Great for inner thigh chaffing, areas where your clothes may rub, and back of your ankles. 4. Going at Halloween? Bring costumes..adults included. 5. Camera batteries. Very important if your camera uses a camera battery. And extra memory cards. 6. Sharpies if you are collecting autographs. 7. Addresses and post card stamps if you want to send them on vacation. 8. Small notepad. Great for jotting down notes on vacation. Especially great for crafters and blogger or vloggers. 9. Extension cord..especially if your also doing a cruise or you have lots of plugables. 10. Going during a holiday? Decorate your door!

If you do bring gum please actually put it in the trash can instead of on the floor or on a trash can or anything else because there are a lot of inconsiderate people who don’t actually put there gum in the proper place. Disney works hard on those roads. I am just saying if you bring gum be careful

Great video! I've always packed my luggage to be "over-prepared". My aunt always said that I pack my backpack "like it's the first day of kindergarten." I pack quite a bit of the things that you listed but I have a few more suggestions from my backpack that I carry around in the parks. 1) Mini First Aid Kit: I'm a fairly clumsy guy and you never know when I might need a Band-Aid. Better to have and not need, than need and not have. 2) Deodorant and wet naps: It's hot in Orlando and I sweat more than the average person. It doesn't hurt to freshen up once or twice in the parks. 3) Hand sanitizer: Disney World is crowded with people from all over the country and all over the world. Those folks are going to bring their germs with them. No sense in getting sick and missing out on fun that you've already paid for. 4) Cash and change: We live in a world where things are paid for more and more with plastic. However, it's tough to tip the bellhop, Mousekeeping, wait staff, and such with a credit card. Also, not all of the vending machines at Disney take cards either. Also, in my regular suitcase, I always pack one t-shirt, baseball cap, or sweatshirt with the name of my hometown or a local sports team. It might sound odd, but it's fun to see if other guests or cast members recognize it and it can show you how small the world really is. i come from a very small town in the middle of nowhere Pennsylvania and have met a few people on every Disney trip I've ever been on that either live near by or know somebody close by. It's amazing. Lastly, I couldn't agree more with this vlog about how great a refillable water bottle is. I fill mine up as much as I can at the ice machine at the hotel and fill with a bit of water each morning. As it melts, I have cold water all day long.

I don’t remember whose video I watched prior to my honeymoon to Disney World in 2016, but they said to bring personal Brita water bottles for the free ice water that you can get... and it made such the difference and I will never go again without mine! For those of you that don’t know, Florida water generally has a strong sulfur/rotten egg smell, but when you put it in a filtered water bottle, it takes any odd flavor/smell right out!

Also bring a small repair kit for minor issues you might have. Sewing kit for small rips and tears, a couple of paper clips (they work really well for broken zipper pulls 😉), zip ties, first aid kit, and anything else for those small unexpected emergencies while you're on vacation. Nothing ruins a good day at the park than having something essential break and not being able to repair it.

If you take it daily, like I do, put the solid meds in those 7 day pill holders. This is especially true if the bottles are big! Should still take the pill bottle with the script on it or a paper from your doctor showing you’re allowed to have the meds and your country of origin or which Disney Park you’re going to. This applies not just to the American parks, but overseas as well. What meds are allowed in to each country without a doctor’s prescription varies, even for what us in the States consider otc. If you are going to any overseas Disney Park (or any foreign country in general) and you take medicine for something that you know you’ll need while there, check to see if you’ll need some specific note for it or not. If you have to take otc supplements-vitamins, iron, what have you-just stick those in a ziplock bag, one bag per supplement. Again, this is the supplement is solid and you’ll be at the Disney Parks and their area for less then the daily amount in your supplement bottle. Most of the vitamin containers, minus the iron, that I see or use are impractical to pack in a carry on. Especially for a 2 week trip. Supplements, minus gummy vitamins, tend to be small, but not all.

Great tips AJ! Like you said, even in the winter the sun rays are still there and you can get a sunburn. Wear that sunscreen! As a born and raised Floridian, I know first hand! The sun is no joke! Weather is very unpredictable no matter what time of year. In the wintee, it can be in the 80's one day then drop to the 50's the next! Summer it can be raining one minute, the the sun comes out the next. Very informative video AJ! Especially for people who don't live in Florida or coming here for the first time. You're definitely a seasoned traveler!

My BEST packing tip. Foam parade cushion!!! Not the expensive stuff, but the ones you can find on Ebay for all of 3$. It's just a small folded foam sheet that if it rains and there are wet benches, rough stone, dirt? No problem, you have a waterproof foam sheet that weighs almost nothing and takes so little room. Extra bonus if your park bag is a backpack as you now have a foam layer between you and that charge pack or first aid kit that is trying to poke you in your shoulder all day.

Prescriptions: Pack more than what you think you'll need. I was going for 9 nights and so that's all I packed. Then Hurricane Irma came and my flight was cancelled. I didn't realize the pills would be a problem until I ran out the morning it hit, and the pharmacies were closed until the day I flew back, so I went three days without my HBP pills. It definitely had a negative impact on how I was feeling those last three days. Shoes: Pack TWO good pairs of walking shoes and alternate them each day so that the pressure points get breaks. Umbrella: I packed both cheap ponchos and a tiny umbrella. The first time I needed the poncho, it was so hot and humid under it that I was more wet from sweat than rain. The little umbrella fit into a side pocket of my backpack and I only needed it once or twice. The rest of the time the light and brief rain actually felt good. Plus, with the ponchos, unless you intend to just throw it away after each use (wasteful), you're then stuffing a wet poncho into your bag, which is yucky. Handheld fan: You can go old school with a handfan, or bring a battery/rechargeable one. I bought a GOOD one on Amazon and it was a lifesaver. Plus kids loved to get a sudden blast of "cool" air while in line. This is what I had--the charge lasted all day, and it really pumps out a good wind, not like those little cheap ones. smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01GH78UAQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Several ziplock bags of different sizes: For opened snacks, for electronics when it's wet, for collecting receipts, etc.

Great video and tips, AJ! I also love/liberally use Zip Locs. I def recommend bringing basic first aid and cold OTC supplies -- I've had to pay resort prices for cough medicine/Ibuprofen, etc, and it ain't FUN! I also always pack moleskin - stays on/mods MUCH better than Band Aids for blisters! I also usually do laundry during my trips, so I throw dryer sheets in my suitcase. Keeps the suitcase/clothes smelling nice, cuts down on odors from any dirty clothes (also bring tall kitchen bags to transport dirty clothes home, or to the Disney laundry), and even keep suitcases/drawers fresh in between trips. I make sure to bring plenty of my sugarless hard candies to keep my mouth moist so again - I don't have to pay park prices. I use the candies instead of chewing gum (too much metal in my mouth anymore!) :(, but tell those who chew gum make SURE and bring that, since they do NOT sell that anywhere on property. Also bring plenty of cigs if you smoke. If I'm staying DVC, or for longer, and have a firidge, I usually do a Garden Grocer delivery, including plenty of bottles of water, to cut down on costs, and to not have to trudge out for something. Also cuts down on the "physical labor" aspect for me to have to transport the stuff.

Several years ago I spent my whole week at WDW with dirty eyeglasses because I couldn't find the few drops of dish soap I needed to get them really clean. Disney has since decided to make dish soap available at "some" hotel gift shops. BUT I got a great tip...buy a contact lens case and fill the two little compartments with the tiny amount of dish soap which is all I need to keep my eyeglasses smudge-free all week!

Having wipes along with hand sanitizer is a good combo to have on you at all times.

Bath size towel and a washcloth or two. The towel is great for after water rides, and to put down anytime you have to sit somewhere hard or dirty like on the sidewalk or ground for parades. Washcloths are good for small amounts of water on rides or wiping off a seat before you sit down on a water ride, also cleaning hands, faces and spills.

Love ALL your videos! We are headed to Disney in April and my family keeps joking that I am just going to eat and not ride because of all the great stuff you guys have shared! ;-) I would love a video on gluten free eating in the parks. My husband just found out he is gluten intolerant, and I would love to hear your recommendations on what to eat gluten free because all your other food videos are awesome! Thanks!!

In 2015 I brought back some souvenirs and had trouble closing my suitcase. Last year I decided to get everything shipped to my home. The shipping and handling wasnt much at all. This relieved a lot of stress of packing and things breaking. Disney has a garentee of replacing broken items when shipped.

There's a really good buy if you chafe/blister easily called "Dr. Scholl's Moleskin". It works like tape, but it's fuzzy on one side so your skin doesn't rub against your shoes/thighs/etc.

If you arriving later in the day or in the evening, make sure to pack your pajamas and anything you need to get to sleep. Your bags might take a while to get your room and you might not want to wait up for them.

I like to bring a clear, over the door shoe bag/pocket holder and hang it on the bathroom door. Great for storing suntan lotions, make-up, combs/brushes, shampoo, hairdryer/curling iron, hair ties, etc. Makes things accessible when you have limited bathroom space in hotels or on cruise lines.

The pins!!! Oh my gosh, if you are planning on pin trading, get a lack of 20 common pins, and then trade them at the park. Buying them at the park WILL break you bank. They can go 9.99 a pin! Also, Florida has no winter. Our seasons, in order of occurrence, are: hell, hurricane, and fall.

Lots of good ideas and advice, reminder to international travelers that there are rules for taking food into the country! Also, top tip, storage at some resorts is limited, think of a collapsible hanging shoe storage unit, ideal for storing socks, underwear evennshoes! Keep up the good work!

A camelbak backpack with a 2 liter bladder! As a couple with no children we each carry one and we couldn’t survive the parks without it. We fill our packs in the morning before the park at our hotel with ice water and again in the afternoon during our mid day break before we go back out. And most camelbaks have just enough room for your park essentials. Highly highly recommend!!!

These are great tips. We r going in 3 weeks. After watching these videos & reading the comments , i am bringing water bottles that use filter straws. Hopefully, we can take advantage of the free water at the parks. Also, thanks to the comments, will be sure to pack chaffing cream, 1st aide kit & hand sanitizer. My granddaughters have been watching Tracker Tim and counting down to Disney. Even for me, it's so hard to focus on the important things coming up before we go.
