Ultimate Double Dragon Demo 0.2 - Jeff Stylish Playthrough

Its been a little while, but I'm back with a new series of 0.2 Demo playthroughs! We will start with my favorite newest character, Jeff. Despite him having only half the moves of the Dragons, he is actually extremely advanced to learn. He has the best fundamental moves from the Dragons' fighting styles, has 4 cancel combos that branch out much more than the Dragons' cancels, DD1+3 style running attacks, 3 air grabs, his own KI combo system, an MK brutality, oh, and a dive kick that you can juggle from! Lol! This guy has just as much combo capabilities as Billy and Jimmy do, just a little different.
I try to show off as much as I can in this playthrough, but I know I can push myself harder to make an even more stylish playthrough. But that will be for the final release. Who knows he might even have more moves...

Hahaha! Yeah there were alot I've never heard of before. I had to ask Mauricio for the ones I didn't recognize. So far I've counted: Jack Flak from Rival Turf, TMNT-Leo,Mikey,Donnie and Shredder, Shin for Hokoto no Ken 7, The Green Ninja from Bad Dudes (and "I'M BAD!" also). Ray from Fighters History, and Shura from World Heroes. There are various other grunts and laughs I have no Idea of where they come from. Mr.Q is full of 16-bit wisdom lol! :)

Thank you, really! I am working on a new video right now, but it will be a bit different. It won't be so much about style but about survival. You have no idea how hard this game is. I strongly recommend using Joy2Key for all your controller issues. As long as your PC can find your controller, you should be fine. Trying to use the game's options to find your controller doesn't always work properly and trying to hook up a 2nd controller definitely won't work properly. Set the in game options to keystrokes. Like P for punch, K for kick, etc. Then find your controller in the software. Press buttons to highlight the actions and then map the keystrokes to the buttons you want to use for each command. Then your all set.

Hello Mr. Q! Long time no see ya! This is getting really interesting. So, do you need help funding? I really like the fact that Jeff and Sonny are playable, as well as Chin and Ranzou! I wouldn't add any more chars, just Double Dragon friends, as Dragon Master as the previous one you did, and the Battletoads. Just my thoughts! And if Jeff is with the good guys, you just made him a Shadow if it's an enemy. A shadow who can turn Billy, Jimmy, Jeff or Sonny (again, only a suggestion)

Hello there. This isn't Mr.Q but I can speak on some of the things you are asking. The game is more or less complete. No more funding is needed. He is just waiting on his brother to finish the music. Jeff isn't a good guy, he is just the only playable villain in the game. I'm not sure what you mean by shadow, I think you might be referring to the Doppleganger from DD2. Something like that may happen but probably not with UDD right now. You can join the discord and find him there. I know I have it in the description. Cheers.

It is. The dev is a former MVC3 fgc champion. So he puts his struggle in the game, but for those who take time to learn well, you can look as cool as me or possible more. This vid is a little old and I don't consider it my best run, but next time I will be better and the game will be even harder!🤣

1st quarter 2023. Please keep in mind this is an Openbor fan game. Meaning you will never see it on the PSN store. Fan games can't be sold for obvious reasons. Lastly, this game is typically played on PC. It's compatible on some Android devices, I've heard some people got it working on their PS4s but I have no idea how. Good luck.

Hello and welcome to my channel. To answer you question as quickly as possible, imagine you got a PS controller, all the regular buttons do the usual stuff, punch, kick, jump, and block. Now the L1 and R1 buttons do what is called "Style Switch" Style switches send your character into an animation that you can "cancel" out off with the press of punch or kick. You can get different attacks depending on the combination. Thats the basics of the kind of moves seen most often. You can start building your knowledge of this project there.

Bro, it's really easy! To perform, for example, KING combo, you just need use this combination: back forward kick, back forward punch, back forward kick, back forward kick. For ultra combo: Back forward kick, kick, back forward kick, back forward punck, back forward kick, back down forward punch, back down forward block. Then you can choice, how to finish this combo pressing punch, block or kick. More than that, you can create own combination like: back forward kick, kick, back down forward Punch, back forward kick, back down forward kick, back down forward punch, back down forward blok, and finish this with kick. In Ultima version ultra/blaser/brutal combos perform more easier than legends of double dragon. For me, perform this combos on keyboard easier than on d-pad.Trust me, and try it! You can do it!

Please bear in mind that this is a fan game made by a single person, over a period of 14 years, for free. Brand new characters made from scratch cost thousands of dollars, and can take up to a year to make.

You must press the "special" button after the end of each Insanity Trigger combo. Special meaning your Block/Crouch button. This includes the Mortal Kombat brutality combo. Which will take some practice to master heh heh heh...

Yeah, I wasn't super fond of it in the beginning, but I got used to it cuz I love the game so much. Jeff is a Yamazaki like personality, so sadistic and crazy and laughs a lot. I do the other pose more often because it's less annoying.🤣
