After 30 years of obscurity, Sonny Lee returns to Ultimate Double Dragon! Now with a properly thought out style and personality. Sonny is a Taekwondo grand-master. Every single one of his moves are kicks! He has everything it takes to compare to the Dragons, if not more. Now you will see it in this “short” combo video!
Oh yeah, you might see the “quality” of some clips change next to others. I accidentally left a different graphic filter that I don't normally use on. So, don't adjust your videos quality, that's the way it is.

Thanks. Keep in mind a lot of these combos were super difficult to perform just in training mode. Doing multi-launching, multi-style switching, full energy bar combos on enemies that block and attack from behind is unlikely. But will do my best to make a entertaining playthrough video with Sonny in the future. 😊

@@nklopez56 He's a new character with so many tricks. You did good trying to pull off some of those Mortal Kombat brutalities. Sonny is like Liu Kang who's based off of Bruce Lee.

Believe it or not, I still have some combo techniques that you havent touched at in the slightest, involving the mid air AVP kicks. Guess I still should do a combo video, or training session and cover it Anyway, this video is really, really good, and showcases how to use almost all the moves with style. You must have went through a lot of effort for this, good work man.

Well this is not a old fashioned beat em' up game anymore. It is super skill based now. It is a new and original way to attack your enemies in this kind of game. Mauricio used to play fighting games competitively. So his background influences how he wants to re-create the beat em' up genre starting with Ultimate Double Dragon. Oh and keep in mind, you don't HAVE TO know how to do all these moves to play and beat the game. They are all just extra. You can play as simple as you want. Check out my OG Dragon playthrough video. All his moves (and SFX) are based off the original DD games without all the complex cancel combos and super combo subsystems.

I don't want to judge "NK" but 🤔..... Your concept with Sonny is supremely a thing to be considered "Godlike". Now i know you are "Godlike" with the Dragons 🐉 and Jeff 👿, but it seems you grasp Sonny differently than the others. Its almost like you're meant to have Sonny as a main. 😂, i know im talking like you are some sort of competitive Street Fighter pro player, but thats what i see from this exhibition here. Kick some ass "NK", kick some Shadow Warriors ass. 🤣

Thanks man. I actually did some practice runs through the story mode earlier an oh God, it was terrible. I'm tripping all over myself and getting my butt kicked. Its so strange how what I do in the training room doesn't carry over to combat very well at all. I mean, I have a better grasp at remembering moves and stuff, but knowing what you can and can't do next to enemies takes time. Like I said in the vid, alot of those combos will never happen when fighting others as they are too difficult, or the other baddies won't let you launch a guy 5 times in the air, and even if you do, there is a good chance he will die before you finish so consider these combo videos more theoretical than practical. Anyways, I will continue practicing. I will find my groove with time, and make a video just as good as Jeff and the Dragons. :)

@@nklopez56 You aint kidding hermano on the difference between combos in training and combos in actual combat. It took me atleast twenty times to get a gameplay right so that it wont look like a beginner's gameplay when i was playing this game, no offense to any beginners in the comments 😅.
