Mehdi's words weren't soft enough when he spoke truth to lies, the station was afraid people who Mehdi interviewed and refused to let off the hood or when Mehdi called out their gaslighting or dishonesty. MSNBC was afraid guest would refuse to come back, they could always go to CNN and get by with it. When Mehdi interviewed the president of Isreal and pushed him for answers.
