This tutorial is seriously helpful and undoubtedly saved my wallet. I will definitely have to buy one or two real bakellites just to have a solid reference when i do this but i already own about a dozen brown Bulgarian AK74 mags. Looks very fun to do as well. I love your results! You cant even tell which one is real and which ones the fake. Thank you so much!

UPDATE: I finally got around to making my fakellites and damn did it come out super nice! My process wasnt exactly the same as the one in the video but it the foundation of my methods and much of the materials used were based off of it. I wish i could post pics here to show the results. I e posted them in various gun groups i follow and many people were impressed. Some even going as far as wanting to buy some from me. Overall i couldnt have done it without you sir. Thanks again!

Great tutorial. I’d like to try to do this with a Yugo polymer furniture set. Unfortunately Yugo AK owners are very limited in our parts compatibility. Even though the M70 is well made, I wish I got a WASR10 instead.
@daa3417
@daa3417 29 күн бұрын
The m70 is a better rifle in every single way, but you should pick up a wasr if you want one as the future of imports both price and availability is always up in the air. Be advised that wasrs do not have mag dimples if you care about that, but the draco does (only buy the Romanian one). I like both for what they are but if you care about finish and quality there really is no beating the Serb.

It really pains me to see Russian AK parts become so expensive. I think most of the stuff was coming from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Ukraine, and Belarus. Now the supply lines from all of those countries have been cut. You use to be able to get Russian bakelite mags and funiture sets for a fraction of what they go for now. Thank god I bought all of that stuff while it was cheap.

@@GalacticForceMedia that’s good deal if your patient and watch you’ll always find deals but if u have to purchase one at a particular time you’ll pay up. I personally wouldn’t wanna pay more than 20-25 for one but I like em otherwise I’d want Croatia ? Or Maby Serbia ? The bho steel one that has a loose floor plate. For the $ it’s best and I just bend the mag well bottom out with a hammer handle and the floor plate is tight. I like the bho to tell me it’s empty. My cheap mags like Korea I mod em to bho. Korea is good for the $ Aslong as their the newer one that has the follower stamped properly and will hold the 1st round properly
