I asked this girl to teach me how to spin once and she told me she wasn’t that good and the second she picked up her element she could flow perfectly
@DSChris Жыл бұрын
Sure that you are talking about me? =D .. please join some cons here in germany - like phoenix fire convention or even monfire convention (which I host in my hometown) and I'd be happy to teach you (: - and there are a lot of other even better spinners than me who would love to share their knowledge with you! Greetings from "this girl" aka. Chris (;

This whole video was like waiting for a bass drop that never came...wtf? Thay being said iy was very nice, just lots or drama (music and into) for not much performamce
@gajalapinskaite97254 жыл бұрын
Agreed. I myself dance with poi and I think there should be more dancing, less camera work, easier music. They all like to make very “dangerous” impression with poi and forget that fire can be your friend, your partner (not some sort of gun, like it seems here), that your dance can be warm and fluid.

Love the drama However I found myself waiting for the drop and some mind blowing tech moves

I'm pretty sure the dislikes come from the inclusion of "ultimate" in the title of the video. I mean the video has great production value, would love to get one of my burns shot by whoever shot this video. That being said, Shows very few transitions in and out of moves (so could potentially edit out mess ups), does not show an ability to spin in time with music/ on beat, and and besides the hyperloop and the stall chaser there's nothing here that I don't teach in beginner workshops. I think this performer would have gotten a lot more love from the community had they not tried to bill themselves bigger than they are.

A bit too dramatic for my taste but nice set of poi. Home of pot, Trick concepts or self made? And do you use the typical Coleman and Kerosene mix?
@DSChris8 жыл бұрын
Hoy! Haha.. yes.. it was taken as promo-clips for shows, thats why it needed some sort of dramatic! :D .. The Monkeyfists are the classic HOP ones, I use them for years now, the quality is great (but it turned out that selfmade isis knot-heads are way better for clips & shows). The Snakes are selfmade. I do use lamp oil most of the time.
