The intro was like watching myself on video but you're wearing a hat. In this pandemic I work from home and the closure of bars and restaurants allows me to release my G.A.S at least 5 times a month. Tripods, SSD Drives, Shotgun , lavalier Mic, VXF packs etc... gotta get some good out of this whole thing (saving money and investing in your yourself is awesome) vids like yours are super helpful. I bought 2 of these almost a month ago and they are top notch. Awesome post I'll sub and check out more...take care.

Thanks! I appreciate it. I love this light and use it in most of my Videos for something. They are super handy. The clamps I use for small lights and light camera setups are the mini small rig super clamps and the large lights and cameras go on my large manfrotto friction arm. Hope that helps! Hi, that's a good question and I should have covered that. I found that the the light intensity varied depending on whether it was in RGB mode or white light. I didn't make note of RGB but at 0.5 meters on white light I got 1150 lux. Hope that helps!

I really like this light but any comparison to the Aputure MC?

Great question. I would say it depends on your objective and what you would be filming. The aputure mc is smaller and more compact, has a silicone cover to diffuse the light as needed, magnetic backing gives it some unique abilities for mounting and it has mobile app support if you need to change settings from a distance. The G2 has almost 3 times the battery life and 3 times the brightness, its got metal build quality making it feel more durable, it's got a flexible mounting bracket but it's almost twice as big but still pretty small and portable. I would say if you are using it in a more structured shoot in a studio or your home and battery and brightness is more important than the G2 is the way to go because it will definitely last your whole shoot. If you are using it for more clever practical lighting on the go and you need more clever lighting in less than ideal shooting conditions then I think the magnet backs and even smaller size make it very unique, but it's battery is a bit lack luster in my opinion so you may need to charge it for any shoot longer than an hour and half or so.

@@daddoestechyt Thanks for the information. So after testing the IVISII, I decided to keep it and order 3 more, and may order another to have 5 altogether. I love the idea of what I can do with it and that I can turn its direction on a stand. It is definitely bright and I really like it so far.

The only downside to the IVISII is that they got rid of the candle light effect from the G1s (which I actually hope to use quite often). The tv effect looks like it could work, but can you change the colour on that IVISII effect from the blue to a warm white? If so, the IVISII would be PERFECT!
