ULTIMATE FORD 5-CYLINDER SOUND COMPILATION!

In this video you will see the ultimate compilation of the Ford Focus 2.5 5 Cylinder Turbo sounds! Originally a Volvo engines, Ford used this engine in the Mk2 Focus ST & in the mighty Mk2 Focus RS. The sound is absolutely amazing and the 2.5 engine has been one of Fords most successful. In the Focus ST, the engine produced 225hp, the mighty Focus RS had 305hp and the RS500 (of which only 500 exist!) had 350hp. But being a turbo engine, there were lots of tuning possibilities, including, turbo upgrades, exhaust systems and various tunes by REVO, Cobb Tuning & more! Many of the Focus RS's you will see in this video are making over 400HP! Especially with an aftermarket exhaust the 5 cylinder engine really came to life and liked to shoot some flames now and then!

I'm on my 2nd EO ST225...cannot..get..enough of that 5 cylinder noise and feel. I also own a 5L V8 TVR, but the ST noise gives me as big a grin as the TVR. Awesome video!

Gotta love the Ford copy-paste haters with "iTs a VolVo". The engine might be volvo engineered but it was owned by Ford. Ford owned Volvo and gave them engines/trans/platforms. Many Volvos from 2000's to 2012 are actually Fords. The fact that they used a Volvo engine for this car is not something amazing, manufacturers do this all the time.

The ONLY well engineered thing in the entire car probably. Ford is a shitty company who hires engineers who specialize in purposely over complicating simple things and never testing the actual product. The quality of most (if not all) of their cars is very low and they have very little regard for the consumer. Their only goal is profit and the change to fit whatever will give them the most, that's why they basically copied the WRX and Evo's formula, un-creative bastards. A great example of this is by looking at the safety of 1980's Fords vs 1980's Volvos, Saabs, VW even and seeing that, without it being required, they could care less about the lives of the people who drive them. I am glad that Ford no longer has it's hands on Volvo, Geely seems like a better place for them to be. Ok, one good thing though is that Ford was cool enough to force Volvo to make more M66 transmissions, so that's cool.
