Nick misspoke. The truck all loaded up weighs 10,260 pounds and NOT 10,600. He was thinking of the GVWR, which is 10,600. Without two weeks worth of gear onboard, it clocks in at 9,850 pounds - well below GVWR. Sorry for the confusion!

Nice build indeed, I love the MITS tray and canopy. I have always been a fan of SCAB builds. The crap halogen headlights would make me lose sleep at night and the low trim grille looks like a cold war era waffle iron but both are easily rectified. Dare I say it needs bigger meats?! I am running 37's on my '23 F250 Tremor with the Carli level and I think I am going to make the jump to 38's when it's time for some new shoes purely for aesthetics and ratio reasons as these trucks outright swallow 37's. And when it comes to a Ford HD the answer is always Carli or One Up Off-Road, don't bother with anything else.

We actually like the look of the lower-trim SDs. And while the halogens aren't amazing, the Baja Design lights more than make up for it. Thanks for the comment!

Why are there not 40s tho. That's my only gripe my man, That aint no weak jeep product you can slam 40s on full sized trucks 0 issues Still Solid build! 😉👌

YEaaaaah Boy. That's the setup. Why buy an expensive Gladiator or Wrangler just to put Ford axles underneath when you can have an already reliable vehicle as a starting point, A Heavy Duty Truck The only down side are the body panels; It would suck to see damage on those Fullsized pickups are not being respected yall

Nice! If you had to change out a wheel, how would the old one get up there?

@@DifferentialComms Haha!! Ok! My bad, I incorrectly calculated those might be too heavy to comfortably get up that high to actuate the bolt. Well, maybe for me. As an aside, if would not take much to get a tiny manully operated assembly that would mechanically assist that lift, if need be say if you had a sore elbow from a hiking slip, or weren't in the mood for a big pump. Please, couple other questions: -Did you not get the full crew cab due to shortened wheel base prefernce? -Did you consider an AluCab Canopy Camper of AT Overland Atlas, or some other that would allow more inside space during inclement conditions? -What was bad abo the Tundra as I was thinking that one would be my build platform, but maybe should reconsider?

Over the gvwr 😂
@DifferentialComms9 күн бұрын
Actually, it's not. GVWR on this truck is 10,600. So, it's right there. And that's when all loaded up. When I am just running around with an empty canopy, it's well below GVWR. Thanks for your comment
