I had a set of Bosch Forstner cutters that I thought were good. It didn't take long before I was burning a hole in the wood instead of cutting a hole. A few years ago, a friend let me borrow his Fisch wave cutters, and I thought I heard angels singing when I used them. I bought a set of the wave cutters from Dictum in Munich, and love them. The Black Shark Pro cutters you have were not available then, else I think I would have bought them instead.

Iv not used the original wave cutters but if they are anything like these which I’m fairly confident they are I can’t imagine there being a massive amount of difference. I think their entire line of products are superior to most other drill bits 🤟

Because of your presentation here, I finally accomplished something today--discovering the difference between Fisch's "Wavecutter" and "Black Shark Pro" and simply "Black Shark." Now I understand Black Shark to be essentially a more recent and refined version of the "Wavecutter" line. Please correct this understanding in reply if I am wrong. I spent a good amount of time "surfing" in KZbin to discover this difference which was not even presented at "FISCH®-Tools Product Demo 2020" where the Black Shark line was introduced as "another one of our products is …" Despairing of finding any available small set imperial versions of "Wavecutter," I now feel no apprehension in purchasing a small "Black Shark" set, even if it is not "Black Shark Pro."
