OMG. just found this video. Created the same team and WOW! I've always struggled with a good hydra team, and never spent the time to speed tune each champion or manual the entire fight for an hour. This is a great comp. No tuning and some of my champs dont have books and are wearing lvl 12 artifacts. Just wanted to see how this comp worked. It is great! Did like 85M on normal with garbage eqpt, no tuning and missing books. Cant wait to keep refining this comp!

Built the team. Wasnt sure it would scale down with lessor gear. It did fine. Yesterday just slotted in as built and got easy auto 40m. Today did some min max and did 100m on auto. I like that i can now work with it as gear improves. Great comp imo. Thanks. Since i didnt have as good coverage on debuffs and less damage. In my case the team with mischief tank shammell outperforms damage shammel.

Interesting. Perhaps you need to kill mischief at a certain speed to make damage better than mischief tank

100% right on visix! I use her everyweek on hydra, and scyl comes out for faction wars only. Provoke and aoe decrease speed is excellent. Shes a staple on my hard team!

At one time, Visix had a mediocre kit and Scyl was by far the best login toon. That changed when Visix got her buff, but you can't change the fact that Scyl helped a lot of people through a lot of content back in the day while Visix warmed a spot in the Vault. I use Visix in NM Hydra for Speed Control and Provoke as well as in my Dark Fae farm team. As a late game player, Visix is far more valuable to me than Scyl.

Been meaning to build this team since you posted it, finally got around to rebuilding 4 characters today since we have free gear removal. I was able to get Visix in Relentless and Shamael in Reflex like you suggested. My gear is no where near as good as yours, but still got 260M damage on hard. Thanks for the team! :)

I'd choose Visix over Scyl any time. People underestimate visix a lot.

I think it’s just early to mid game vs late game. I almost exclusively used scyl early on and have shifted to vaulting her and using visix often.

Scyl didn't impact my account much. I had Ukko in a stun set by the time I got her. Visix has had big effects and has replaced Krisk in a lot of my teams.

I recently built this team, and have run it the last 2 weeks. It's a gear check, but otherwise, I'm doing 100 mil on Hard, which is far better than I've ever done. Huge thanks for this video/team comp. And I think we're going to have a couple more folks in my clan running it here soon, after they see how good my team is.

Following your guide but using the champs I had I managed to deal 120m on hard, in case anyone wants to try: Python, artak, visix (relentless), uugo (relentless), razelvarg and inquisitor Looking forward to get better gear and to farm hex gear for Artak

I use Scyl all of the time in Relentless gear. She’s tanky, heals, revives, increases/decreases speed, & has decent cc. Hoping to incorporate Visix on more of my teams. Is there another champ I can substitute for Lydia on the hydra team???

I have 2 big problem with this setup: 1. Ukko can't keep the block buff debuff keep up constantly because he places it only if there is no buff remaining on the target 2. No hp burn. These two can occur a sitiation where poison cloud is on and all your buffs are stolen and spread on the heads. To come out a situation like this is just long and the damage potential is just falling extremly until you get out of this....

This is what I have been waiting for. I have some good Hydra teams but I just don't have the time nor the desire to manual Hydra every week. I would actually enjoy running Hydra on manual if they scaled the numbers so the run time was more like 5 minutes instead of nearly an hour.

The one hour problem came in with the Hydra clash. Before that you would just do your key damage and get out. I honestly think, even with the rewards that Hydra clash is a bad thing because of that. Major time sync.

I think another consideration that some people might have chosen Scyl over Visix in the poll is she is Lydia's empowerment champ. I agree that Visix is better, but I was rarely using Visix anymore and fed her after pulling a dupe. I use a +2 Lydia a lot more than I was using Visix.

While I find Visix excellent, I think that Skeuramis in a Reflex set is better here. Skeuramis gives the provoke at the same timing as Visix and adding the reflex set makes it happen more often. In addition, Skeuramis serves at a mischief tank at the same time for those of us that do not have the gear to wipe the Head of Mischief. Side note, might it not be better to use Mighty Ukko in the lead instead of Razelvarg? They have the same speed lead and pumping the extra turn meter will bring Mighty Ukko's A2 (block buffs) back around that much faster as well as bringing the AoE revive back. I mean, you do lose some of Razelvarg's attacks, but might not the benefits of Mighty Ukko taking the extra turns lead to the overall run being smoother?

It's still rng on when ukko puts block buffs vs poision cloud. Visix is super underrated.

I think that poll showed more of what percentage of the player base has been playing long enough to get Visix vs Scyl than anything. Anyone playing long enough to get Visix has more than likely grown past the need for Scyl, imo

Scyl is still one of my better healers after 1.5 years of playing the game she's my 3th or 4th best healer whit reactor draft first the pythion and then cluncky skyforged shaman, i agree visixs is over all better but if you don't have a valid healer/buffer scyl is still important for a large player base, i use Visix more shes in my hydra hard and late floors of DT hard.

To be honest Scyle is much better overal in the game because you get her earlier then Visix plus she can carry team. I think i beaten all 3 doom hard rotation with her even Bomel by forcing him to drop bombs so I can reflect with Geomancer damage. Ofcourse not to underestimate Visix after buff she is much better champ thats for sure ;)

Update: I used Stag Knight instead of Lydia and it worked suprisingly well. Dhukk the Pierced would be an interesting option for people struggling with provokes!

Barely use Scyl. Only for certain DT bosses. Visix gets a little more air time.

Why everybody asks for replacements? You can replace any champion with some other - but it will be just another team. Also note that Visix and Ukko are too good for just 2d Hydra, I use them on 4th Hydra.

I put visex in guardian gear but it was a mistake, she can't stay alive that way. One day, when free gear removal is on a weekend, I'll rebuild her.

I’d personally try lowering damage first. The only issue with that is breaking people out. The others cause a lot more problems

The answer is yes but not by much. 35% of a 20% aura is only an extra 7% to the aura. I would consider cruelty since Lydia has an aoe hit, and this team would benefit a lot from extra defense reduction

actually not to far off my main hydra team, i use nekmo, artak, shamal, doompriest, scyl, and wukong. i have mithrala waiting in the portal and will try her instead of scyl
