Fabrika is such a cool venue. I went there for cappuccino on three separate occasions, and also bought a small pot from the pottery shop in the courtyard there. The former Soviet printiing house is Stamba in Rustaveli Avenue, also a cool venue with trendy bar, cafe and restaurant where I had lunch on one occasion. The place is also a hotel and has lots of interesting art studios throughout the complex. I'd love to go back some time. Glad you enjoyed the bath scrubs.

The Tbilisi funicular was built in 1905. BTW, you should also visit the Sioni Cathedral, where you can see St. Nina's (the woman who brought Christianity to Georgia) cross which she brought to Georgia in the 4th century. The cross is made of her hair and vine branches and is very well preserved.

Interesting that georgians dont seem to have a problem when others say that Georgia is the 2nd Christian country and Armenia is the first. But if Armenians say it the venom starts pouring instantly..interesting
@anakoshadze50513 жыл бұрын
@@woodrowwilson2597 This is due to the confusion in the concept. since Armenia is the first but she is an apostolic and Georgia is the first orthodox although both are Christian
@woodrowwilson25973 жыл бұрын
@@anakoshadze5051 are you even realising what you wrote?? You mean Georgia is first orthodox (i cant either conform or deny that). And also you say Armenia is the first apostolic. Period. Without adding that so therefore it is also OVERALL the first! Instead what you are TRYING to do is to say apostolic doesnt count so therefore Georgia becomes the first country. The PRIMITIVENESS of thinking of certain georgians that are so dramatic and jealous that Armenia might be in anything "better" than them or that Georgia might have been in Anything influenced by Armenia, is really ridiculous to watch, also for foreigners. Small hint, it doesnt show you in the best light of such great people to say the least.😅🙈🙈
@qisti.joyola3 жыл бұрын
@@woodrowwilson2597, You are acting provocative, my friend. She said that Armenia is the first Christian country, although apostolic. Georgia is the second Christian country, but orthodox. So, please keep your provoking thoughts in your head. Now, about ur first comment, Georgians and Armenians are both old cultural societies. Sometimes Armenians love to claim to be first in everything, even claiming Georgian food, history, people, land and etc. This is why some Georgians may seem a bit venomous to you, but don't worry, come to Georgia, we'll give you some good Saperavi antidote.

Awesome video as always. I've never been to Tblisi but the video about the bath made me remember the Hammam (Turkish word for bath) experience I got in Istanbul. Good times. Hopefully you guys will travel to Turkey one day and experience the Turkish baths. If you do travel to Turkey one day, remember that Eminonu has better prices than the Grand Bazaar and they both sell the same things.
@venusmir52273 жыл бұрын
yeah, everything amazing in Turkey actually. especially their concerts and singers food ..
@caromir32773 жыл бұрын
You're absolutely right!! We live here in Istanbul and definitely 2nd the tip about Emononu being better than the Grand Baazar for prices. Also the Grand Baazar can be a bit stressful at times. Locals pretty much never go there, but it's more common to see locals shopping in Eminonu.
